30 Bananas a Day!

The good news-- 2218 cal.  The bad news-- 25% fat-- mostly from cookies.  I did really great with eating a nice big breakfast smoothie of bananas and dates (with the ribs from kale thrown in).  Ate more dates as snacks.  Enjoyed a super yummy green salad with the same tahini-agave dressing as yesterday.  Walked the dogs and came home wanting to eat everything in sight.  Instead of taking a moment to make another smoothie, I ate cookies.  Sigh.  Now another three or four days to get that wheat out of my system.

I didn't end up biking to work today-- I worked from home instead.

Sleep-- since I thought I was going to try to go to work, I did take a sleeping aid... it did help me sleep, but I was groggy getting up.

I'm still trying to develop a daily yoga/ hooping practice.  It involves a delicate balance with food, though.  Just can't be too full.

I did notice today that I am still tired going up stairs and my blood pressure is still dropping too low.

Aha-- the mystery of the poor food choice was made clear this morning.  Started my period.  That makes sense!  At least it wasn't french fries.  Next month I will be more aware and more prepared.  I would have been better off with a Lara bar.

Sounds like you'd really love some clarity about why you make the food choices you make sometimes?  I'm wondering if you are a bit frustrated knowing that you will feel so much better if you choose fruit, rather than cookies?  If you really long to support yourself in making choices that make you feel physically great?


I know what you mean about exercising with a full stomach.  I always get my workout done in the morning on an empty stomach.  If I don't, then I run into problems.  I will eventually have to learn to exercise with food in my stomach if I want to run a marathon, but that is a looong way down the road.  LOL!

Aw man! Sorry about the cookies! That's okay --- today is Tuesday. :o) Have you tried to incorporate some more whole fruits into your regimen? That kind of helps me feel more satisfied. Enjoy your hoops!
