30 Bananas a Day!

Things I am planning on getting tested for because of my hair loss

If you know of anything to add that I'm missing, PLEASE let me know!

I just want to get tested for all possibilities, which will hopefully be possible in 1 visit.

If you've been following my blog you'll know that I've experienced hair thinning and more recently slow but steady hair loss which has never happened before

The document I plan on printing and taking to the doctor starts after this line:

Iodine

Iron

B complex vitamins/B12

Selenium

Copper

Silica

Zinc

Protein/Amino Acid levels, especially: lysine, arginine, cystine, cysteine, and methionine

Lead, cadmium, aluminum toxicity

Are my hormone levels regular/balanced? Especially: dihydrotestosterone (DHT), testosterone

Can hormones that cause acne be related to hair thinning/balding? If yes, likely candidates.

Is it possible to test for fat deficiency?

I would also test for mercury, barium, both heavy metals that are around.

I had mentioned before, I had huge troubles with this on the Gabriell cousins diet, I was doing regular Apple cider vinegar on salads, sugar phoba!  Thanks cousins for that...

Anyhow, I think it was due to eating huge sprouted salads, and noxious salad condiments.  Now that I do whole food only, it isn't an issue any more, just fruit and greens.  It was scary at first, and I have the high fat, sugar phobia crowd to thank for that, not to mention become a super skinny dude.

Happy to report the hair loss is not occuring, and I am exercising and putting back on muscle as a LFRV...

No that for iodine the only test that is accurate is an iodine loading test

get tested for Vitamin D levels too while you're at it. and definitely do a full hormone panel. I don't think there's such a thing as a "fat deficiency" what you might want to do is get you body fat PERCENTAGE measured, the doctor will be able to tell you if it's dangerously low.
