Freelee's Challenge - Day 8 (July 2)

First day back from the retreat, and I am one hungry woman :-)

Breakfast: 10 banana + 400g (frozen) blueberry smoothie

Lunch: 500g lettuce + 2orange-flaxseed-basil dressing, 10banana + 400g (frozen) raspberry smoothie

Dinner: 750ml freshly pressed orange juice (9 oranges), lettuce wraps filled with cucumber (1), tomato (2), mango (2), and thyme. Delish! Snacked some more tomatoes after that.

Water: ~2l only, I fear

Exercise: backing to work…

Freelee's Challenge - Day 7 (July 1)

[Posting this a few days late, since I was at a meditation retreat without Internet access]

Breakfast: 3 apples, 4 bananas

Lunch: 3 apples, 9 dates

Water: ~5l 

Exercise: ~1h hiking with heavy bags

Freelee's Challenge - Day 6 (June 30)

[Posting this a few days late, since I was at a meditation retreat without Internet access]

Breakfast: 3 apples, 4 bananas

Lunch: 2 plates with salad (iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots) and 5 bananas

Water ~5l (with some hot water)

Exercise: none

The cold is getting to me. It's about 10-15 degrees Celsius, I'm in a hut in the Norwegian woods (no heating), with little food, too little clothing, and no exercise (other than…

Freelee's Challenge - Day 5 (June 29)

[Posting this a few days late, since I was at a meditation retreat without Internet access]

First full day at the meditation retreat. According to the Buddhist practice rules, food is allowed until noon, so I'll only have breakfast and lunch until Sunday.

Breakfast: 5 bananas, 2 apples, 5 dates

Lunch: 5 bananas

Water: ~5l

Exercise: none

I have trouble eating. Well, bananas, apples, and dates is all I have to choose…

Freelee's Challenge - Day 4 (June 28)

[Posting this a few days late, since I was at a meditation retreat without Internet access]

Thursday, first evening of the retreat. I had sent a box filled with organic bananas, apples, and dates with the organizers. It would be the food for the weekend.

Thursday was a smoothie day:

Breakfast: smoothie with 10 bananas, 200g frozen (defrosted) blueberries and 200g frozen strawberries

Freelee's Challenge - Day 3 (June 27)

What a day. So I slept almost nothing, stressing out about all the things I should do and ending up doing almost none of them (and spending waay too much time online instead). Still feeling sick, but getting better-ish I think. I did sleep a bit during the day, which made me feel better (surprise surprise).

Tomorrow I'll leave for the meditation retreat. I'm really looking forward to three days without Internet and phone, without talking, in silence and in the…

Freelee's Challenge - Day 2 (June 26)

Today started rough. I woke up sick and stressed about too many things. Stayed in bed for most of the day, but kept on stressing out about the things I wasn't doing. Oh well... I'm feeling better now, and I did get quite a bit of food in, around 2000 kcal.

Breakfast: half a watermelon, plus one plantain

Lunch: 1.5l of banana-blueberry-strawberry smoothie

and a romaine lettuce salad with orange-linseed-dill dressing.
