Sugar Aches?

Hi,

I am still transitioning from cooked vegan, to raw til 4, and whenever I try and have a high calorie fruit meal, I get aches in my arms/shoulders even if I'm only about 400-500 cals into the meal.  This usually only happens when I eat dates, apples, or have a smoothie with added sugar (it does not happen with banana smoothies), and the aches last around 10 minutes.  I believe these are sugar aches? I do not want to tell my…

Probably my most frightening RT4 day? Hyponatremia?

I've been feeling dizzy and spacey, as well as very weak, all day. This is something I feel often, and it usually helps a TINY bit when I salt my water (1/4-1/2 tsp per liter), but it's never enough to make me feel normal. I know this can't be detox, how could it be, at least? I had no ability to think today. Luckily, I'm unemployed, so I didn't have to work, but I felt like a complete brainless vegetable. No energy or coordination to go on a run, either. I couldn't stomach any more bananas…

What's the point if I stopped feeling good? (pics)

Beginning:

I started 80/10/10 Raw Till 4 a year ago. Ever since then, I have binged a handful of times on bags of tortilla chips, cans of salty beans, and other savory treats because I was SO stressed from work (vegetarian grocery store) late at night. I was feelin 10000% great during my first 5 months, especially during the times when I didn't rely on those fatty salty foods!

My weight stayed the same, I would estimate around 115-120 lbs. I'm 5'4". However,…

A new start day #1

I fell off the waggon for a looooong time. My weight has been fluctuating and my body has been in pain all the time. No more. Im going to start with an apple-island!

I love apples, they are the #1 food for me. I'd do bananas, but organic apples are cheaper now because they are in season, so they can be locally grown and... their taste is delicious! ;3

Please support me, everyone, I gotta do this right!

I still have extra weight and I have been vegan for quite a while now. (full vegan 6 months) (99% vegan 3 years)

I am not a large girl right now, (size 6 to 8(mostly 8)) so a part of be believes that this is my body settling at a weight it thinks is healthy for me.

My inner legs retain a lot of weight. And by weight, I mean fat. My quads are rock hard, but for some strange reason my inner legs will not loose the fat.

It's not a big deal, but I can still grab a handful of fat on my inner thighs and around my arms. So will my body stay at this weight no matter what? Or is it going to be like…

ATTN Los Angeles Area HCRV

Hey fruit bats,

My name is Dave Gregory and I've been interested in the raw vegan life style for about 3 years. I really want to do it and as you know it can be tough. Anyways I'm a stand up comedian based out in Los Angeles (burbank) and I want to know if there's anyone L.A that would like to have a pot luck. I want to do this with someone so we can keep each other motivated and accountable. I usually do things on my own but this is something that's really fun and exciting and…

Loving HCRV, Loving Dates, Dates are NOT loving me...

Alright so I've been High Car Raw Til Four Vegan for a little over a year and half, and I am loving it(: I have never felt better about myself, and I have never been healthier (not even as a soccer and basketball player in high school). My body is going through some MAJOR recovery after 7 years of bulimia, a disordered view of what beauty is, and a negative attitude toward myself and life. Now I'm feeling confident and content with all aspects of life, and I'm so excited for the progress and…

Jumping Islands ~ RT4

Hello everyone!!

I have been eating a whole lot of bananas for the past eight days. attempting to do a full out banana island. with all of the bloating (and I mean massive ugly bloating), I have decided to jump islands... banana island during the day and HCLFV island at night (cooked). since island jumping, I have noticed a lot less bloating. Don't know why that is? My dinners have been staying the same: rice noodles, 1/2 head of lettuce, mixed steamed veggies and occasionally…

Cholecystitis symptoms retreat ~ UTI moves in!

So there's no doubt that I am facing some immune issues! My immune system seems to be running on fumes and needs a good boost. a week and a half before the gallbladder attack, I had a week and a half long UTI. Strange, because at that time I was one week into a juice feast. never had I had a UTI barge in while I was doing any sort of cleanse. now the GB is getting some rest and my pains are much much less now, I have no fever and the past two days my energy levels were pretty decent!!…

Cholecystitis ~ and positive energy!!

So for the past four and a half days, I have been put on bed rest for gallbladder issues. On top of that, I have been firmly scolded "no fat diet!" ... As a matter of fact, my doctor labeled my diet as the BRAT diet, she says, "a BRAT diet for a brat." :D

Bananas

Rice

Applesauce

Toast (with jelly)

Let me also mention that I have known my doctor for over ten + years. She is a naturopath and offers a great deal of homeopathic remedies. My daughters have only seen her as… Continue
