Need a healthy seasoning? Try celery salt!

Celery Salt Are you trying to cut back on your sodium intake? Are you craving salty foods?

When you are following the raw food lifestyle, you naturally  decrease your sodium intake. If you start to crave salty foods, that just means you need some sodium back in your diet.

Don't reach for the salt shaker or grab a bag of chips. Throw some peanut butter or hummus on some celery and chop away to stave…

Fully raw cleanse day 6

Hi everyone

Today was a tough day to get through. And I mean tough. I felt carbed up and never let myself go hungry, managed a total of about 2400 cals today(appropriate for my h&w). But I'm getting cravings! For pasta, for rice, the cooked food. So I'm letting myself have a bit of roasted broccoli today. Might not be raw but its better than going to a heavy pasta meal and binging out.

Breakfast: Smoothie with 550g pineapple, a few strawberries(sour!!) and…

Rawxies Cookie Bar Review

Rawxies

I was so excited to receive my Rawxies cookie/bars in the mail today. I stumbled upon Rawxies on Instagram and I am so glad I did.

It is so hard to find a raw vegan bar that actually tastes good and not full of fat! Convenience food is very hard to come by on a raw vegan diet.

1 week raw vegan

Hey fruity cuties!

I have been eating over 2,100 calories from raw fruits and vegetables for the past 7 days. I have been in a transition period. From April 7th to May 7th I had 16 days raw vegan and 15 days cooked vegan. I think it was helpful to be vegan for about a year and a half before embarking on this new journey because I had a background of security knowing that fruits and vegetables are the best thing my body needs to create new cells and function optimally. I have been…

A day in the life eating raw.

What do you eat on a raw diet

I have shared in the past what to eat on a raw vegan diet , but I thought it was time for an update. I want people to see the variety of food you can enjoy on a daily basis.

When I speak to people about eating raw, everyone gives you that look like "Oh, that would be so hard"  or "Oh, you're one of those kind of people!" They assume this lifestyle is so boring and…

Au pair in the US

Hi everyone, I want to become an au pair in the US and I really would like to stay with a vegan family. I will go through "Au Pair Care", so they will find a family for me, but I just wanted to see if there is anyone here that is looking for an au pair or if there is someone who knows a family that is. Anyone?? :)

Motivators

I read somewhere that in order to achieve your goals, you should create a list of what you would ultimately like to see as a result. Here are a list of my motivators for sticking to the raw (possibly rt4) diet:

- be a good example for my kids

- live to be 100 (and more!)…

A Journey Into My Soul

I'll start by telling you a little about myself. My life, my story. My soul.

I was a shy girl for a very long time, who quite frankly, absolutely hated herself! I wasn't confident with my weight or looks through school, and kids picked up on that and bullied me calling me "weird" "ugly" "fat" "red head" "ginger" whenever they got the chance. I pretended it didn't bother me but it did! It really, truly did! I didn't even feel like a person after a while, and wanted desperately…

4th day raw

Today is my forth day hclf raw vegan. I had 5 ripe bananas for breakfast. There are about 27 or so on my desk waiting to be spotty enough to eat. I feel so self-determined to make this lifestyle work. I feel 100% INVINCIBLE. I love fruit ommmmmmgggggggg. I had a big organic salad for lunch with spinach, mushrooms, applesauce, raisins, and onions. Before that I had a plate of pineapple and strawberries. Next for a snack I had dried fruit from a plastic bag. It was low fat, but I do feel a…
