Blueberry STEAL in Arizona - Kodiak
Hey Fruity friends, Not quite sure where to post this, but I just had to share! Kodiak Produce - a bulk warehouse in Phoenix, AZ - a place where most frugivores visit, I'm sure... is getting rid of ORGANIC BLUEBERRIES for $2 a box.
Uhm, it's not polite to spew banana smoothie all over the laptop, but that's okay. Yeah, totally a major deal.
They're priced like that because they're 'moldy' - which are totally not that bad! Maybe 1 or 2 out of a container (with a box having 8…

The power of positive thinking and action leads to a free box of peaches!
For the past few days I've been thinking a lot about beginning a mono-island and decided to check out my local produce wholesaler Kodiak on Tuesday morning and buy a box of peaches. But I was out of greens and wanted to buy a few more pineapples which were on sale this week so I drove over to the grocery store this evening (Sunday). Going Bananas
I went to the supermarket with two friends this morning and one of them told me that she was embarrassed by the amount of bananas I bought.
I think buying that many bananas makes me some kind of supermarket super hero. I'm proud. I love filling my shopping cart with beautiful produce.
I stocked up on mangoes, dates, and a few melons and berries too.

LA Wholesale Produce Market runs, I will pay extra to pick up things for me.
If anyone wants to grab some extra things for me on their LA wholesale market runs, I will gladly pay a little extra for your time. I could also pay for delivery to me in Santa Monica. I have a car, but I have a very busy work schedule that makes it difficult to get to downtown at the hours the market is open.
Message me if interested.
I've been on the lfrv path for over 20 months now, and due to budgetary constraints have only been eating conventional produce this whole time... I've known about the organic wholesaler Better Life Produce in Los Angeles for over a year now but have never gotten around to ordering from them because they are 60 miles away from home and it's a hard call for me because I already commute hundreds of miles during the week for work..
Well I've finally placed my first order with them…
