So I have already eaten 10 bananas. Then in this picture, next to my head are two jars each containing 10 bananas with water. All I want is to eat only this just this one day. I think that this first step is important for me.
PS: I am also exercising regularly :)

Day 186 of the Fruit Feast. i have recently returned from my trip to Dallas, Texas. The trip was a blessing because i was used of the Lord as an instrument to help people. i was blessed to baptize one sister into Christ and i spoke at a small home gathering on Sabbath. It was very nice. People in Texas are beautiful (but they drive very aggressively; they are the closest thing to New York i have ever seen). It was very hot down there as the temperatures were over 100 degrees every day. It… Continue

I've decided to embark on a 2 month period of time, basically for the rest of summer, with no overt fats! This is the first time i've attempted this. I usually don't eat overt fats every day, but this will take some time to get used to!
I'll be on the lookout for some salad dressings that are overt free, so if anyone has any favourites don't hesitate to share your recipes.
Yesterday was my first day of overt… Continue

Great Question! A fruitarathon is a fruit fueled race that is at least
12.8 miles in each direction. It originally was created on July 13th
2010, and finally came to be a reality when Nate Ritchie offered me a
Mamey Sapote. Nate lives 12.8 miles from my home so you know what I had
A true fruitarathon includes plenty of foraged fruit along the way.
Today included blackberries, raspberries, plums, loquats, and finding

Hey guys just wanted to drop a few lines describing my most recent walking escapade. Yesterday I was off of work and shortly after waking out of the blue, I just wanted to test my endurance. I am still considerably overweight so walking is my primary form of exercise at the moment and very very light jogging. So, I decide to walk as far as possible and have my girlfriend come and pick me up when I give out. Not the best idea I have come up with so far. At mile 3 I was fine and started to slowly… Continue

HI I have been working for this guy who said originally that he was into health food and low fat fruits and vegetables in particular. So yesterday I asked him if I could drop some fruit off at his house so I would have my lunch there for the rest of the week. He said ok- and part of the reason I did this was because his house is close to the costco where I got the fruit.
I just got an email from him this morning where he was totally loosing his sh*t about the fruit I left… Continue

I have been dropping by quite a lot but havn't felt I have had much to contribute lately in my transition to 811. However recently I have noticed a few changes. I have always found that the thought of specific social occaisions on thne horizon or in fact at any time in the future was enough to de-rail me... these were:
Touring with my music: being in another country for an extended period of time, with unknown amounts of personal time and lots of social eating at… Continue

I just wanted to share that I am super happy because my boyfriend of 5 1/2 years proposed to me on Friday :-). Now I am staring at the beautiful ring on my finger all day long :-).
I have since flown to Germany to my family, my fiance (how cool does that sound hehe) is coming in 2 weeks, too.
I am enjoying the sun (went for a run at 5.45am because it was nice and cool), the ripe pineapple (my brother got me 14 pineapples and arranged them in a heart shape :-) ),… Continue

I've been waxing and waning for a couple weeks, 50-75% LFRV, sorting out which fruits and veggies set best with me, the timing and convenience factors. I do good with 2-4 bananas for breakfast. (I don't go to bed until 3-4a, working 3-1130p and going to gym after work, and wake up around 10-11a). then when I get to work I stop for some tomatoes, red pepper and cucumber (and cut them up in my Med Room/Man Cave). and the rest of the day goes well with cantelop, bananas, dates, and prunes. It's… Continue

I watched one of Freelee's videos on this site and have read a little on the blogs about having to eat enough fruit to get the amount of nutrients that are needed for an active body and to stave off hunger. The very active people here need and consume huge amounts of calories. Well and good.
Due to disabilities (and ravages of age) my body doesn't move much, and I know full well that an essential ingredient of the 811 is exercise. Can I NOT do 811 successfully because of an inability… Continue

I'm a mom to a teenager.
Thank you for your sympathies.
And as a mom gone raw I would like to see my somewhat out of control teenager embrace the lifestyle. I want him fit and thriving and healthy and filled with confidence and poise.
For over 5 years I have been campaingning my family with every video and book so that we could ALL embrace a lifestyle TOGETHER. The healthiest diet on the face of the earth. And that in my opionion is 811. I want… Continue

I've decided to keep a log of the changes that occur while I'm transitioning to the 811 low fat raw vegan lifestyle. At the end of each month lfrv I'll write a little bit about the changes I've experienced, and maybe when I lose a lot of weight I'll post before and after pics. :) I figure this will be good for me to look back on if I ever forget the awesome benefits I've experience from… Continue
