Day 114

Lips not as terrible, but still bad. Just want them to heal quickly.

Acne keeps on appearing. Sigh :(

Weight trained shoulders. Feeling so chunky nowadays.

From fruit-phobic to free and fruitarian!

Hi :D I'm 21 years old, married, and I've been eating disordered for 3 years now.  I have been restricting my calories under 1/4 of what I need in a day and overexercising for most of these few years, with spurts of bulimia. Muscle ups!!!

I have been doing pull ups regularly for a few month now, not following a strict exercising plan, just having fun. And today with a good friend of mine, we went training and he kinda pushed to try to do a muscle up which I believed I could not do, but I was wrong and I could get 3 of them done!!! Power of motivation and fruits!

That made me feel so happy!

Day 19 - Light and happy :)

So I had a lovely weekend in the Lake District, lots of fresh air, fruit and veg. I managed to do quite a bit of walking and did 2 sessions of kick boxing aaaaand had a snooze in the sunshine :D  Also I visited my favourite organic fruit and veg co-op to get stocked up for the week ahead.


This week I am feeling rested...finally and quite good! I took everyone's advice and tried to get more carbs in, especially on the days where I am exercising so that I can sleep…

Day 113

Lips and acne still terrible.

Right after I would eat, my lips would get super itchy like my body couldn't handle food because of the amount of toxins that it is already trying to expel from having eaten tomatoes. What should I do? Should I water fast? I'm at such a loss :/

No overt fats update

Well, been no overt fats for about two months now (sorry, I'm lousy at keeping track of time) and I blogged about how I didn't seem to miss or crave fats and that my nails suddenly were growing and my skin wasn't getting dry.

Now for an update:  I have noticed two additional results.

1)  Wow, if you avoid any cooked food and you remove the overt fats, you lose weight - even if you aren't trying or intending to!  No, I don't know how much I've lost but I've definitely lost…

Day 112

Lips chapped and dry, but trying really hard not to mess with them and not putting anything on them either. Itchy too :/ Some yellowish crust around bottom of lower lip. No more tomatoes for a while; better stick with bananas I guess.

Acne seems to be getting worse and is all over my face and all over body.

Itchy bumps on cheeks, jawline, around lips, and on side of stomach.

Idk what's causing all of this stuff to act up. Maybe the tomatoes???

Week 14/18 Marathon training completed!

So the big day is getting close and I have learned so much about myself during my training.  I have been on this lifestyle since January 1 2013.  I have so much energy now with less need to do so much work to maintain my strength and lean physique! I also eat way more than ever and love fruit! My skin is better and people tell me I look younger and happier than ever! :) I do feel happy even though I am going through a long drawn out divorce I feel like I am healing mentally and spiritually…

My knee is not fully better, but i just couldn't sit at home and let RAGBRAI happen, and not be there, so i did the last 2 days. I was pretty happy with how well my knee held up.

Lunch Smoothie was Amazing!!

Well I made a smoothie this morning to take to work for lunch.. and it was so awesome!

no one looked at me funny and i actually had a co-worker say it looked yummy :)

Day 110

Lips and acne still bumming me out. Just seem to stay bad(lips)/get worse(acne). Hopefully healing will come soon.

Think I may have a cavity in my lower right tooth (2nd to last from the back). Hope not. Eating dried fruit isn't good for my teeth so I'm definitely going to try harder to avoid having to eat it.

week 1 summary for HCRF

Well it was a interesting week to say the least.

I ran out of fruit towards the end. . Can't believe I ate over 70 pounds of fruit and LOST 10.4 pounds! !!!!

Now at 300.4 pnds and feel so energetic. I don't crave food at all mostly I think because I'm so stuffed after meals.

I only had the chance to work out 4 Times which consisted of 45 mins of walking and some basic calisthenics.

First post ever!!!!

Well today is the 26th of March. Im very joyous. The weather in Pittsburgh is beautiful. I have only 4 lectures left in my Calculus course, and a final exam. So ready for it to be OVER! Im hoping for an A or a B.

Trying 100% raw for a while

So, here I am, on a 21 day raw journey, hoping to keep up till the end. These 21 days is by accident, I don't intent to establish a habit, though that would be great if I could maintain eating raw further than that period (visiting my parents after that, who are not familiar with raw nutrition). Along with eating raw, I have more polite plans for my body, like excersise, bodybrush, meditation etc.
