Oh my goodness. I started out so good this past weekend. We set up for my nieces's grad party in our backyard here in California on Friday and Saturday and I did really well. There was tons of cooked food here, there and everywhere! The fried chicken smelled amazing! What in the world? Why does it smell do good???? I took a couple of bites but mostly stuck to the fruit platter. I pretty much had it to myself as everyone else was eating the chicken, sandwiches, and homemade potato salad (I must…

Since the start of the year I have been weighing myself every morning in a hope that I will put on weight (muscle). Seeing an ever decreasing reading gets me down and starts my day off on the wrong foot. It’s time to stop. I need to lose this as a focus. It does me no good. Losing more weight isn’t going to make me stop 811 so it’s pointless to keep weighing myself. I’ve just put the scales away and have given myself a 3 month challenge to not weigh myself but to just keep doing my weights and…

I buy everything in bulk for the following reasons:
1. If buy in bulk, you automatically eat so so many more mono meals, which is really what advanced 811 is all about - and THE goal as far as I'm concerned.
2. You save money
3. You don't have to go to the supermarket and be tempted with all kinds of stuff that you just shouldn't have to look at anymore...
4. Buying organic is where it's at! support the industry!
5. this delivery service literally drops the stuff at…

yeah yeah getting closer to one hundred days! Every thing's pretty good. Made some raw sushi yesterday by taking square sections on of red leaf lettuce and putting layers of cucumber, shredded carrot, avocado, date, and tomato. AMAZING. But I ate way too much and it was bad combining, which I am suffering from to this minute. I made the best discovery. Raw yogurt. Seriously! Put one frozen banana in mini food processor with 3 dates, Then add any other fresh fruit that you love. I know t seems…

Got out of bed past noon, so skipped a few meals. At least I got plenty of sleep! ;-) Don't feel like eating much. The oranges made my mouth sting (they're not organic) so I threw the rest of the bag away. Too bad, because I did feel like eating oranges.
I'm really having cravings for bread…

DR recently posted a topic that seemed to arouse a great deal of intense discussions. What I found to be most puzzling was when people had such a huge problem with judging other people. In this context it was about people who were overweight.
Judgment is NATURAL. Without judgment there is no objectivity. If we see someone who is overweight with bad skin and smells foul we can judge them as such. In so doing we can observe the things they are doing, eating, watching, listening to, and learn…

I could tell when I ran Friday morning that I had had cooked food the day before. My breath was okay, but my body felt like a lump. So why did I eat even more cooked food today? First of all, I'm on vacation. I'm spending all my time with cooked food people and a lot of cooked food! Maybe you are all right and I need to eat a lot more fruit. It certainly couldn't hurt.
Food:
smoothie: 4 bananas, 1/2 cantaloupe, 1 cup strawberries

Everything Neety and Free said came true.
I can't believe I thought I had it DOWN.
I guess I wasn't eating enough, though I was sure that I was. My diet wasn't varied AT ALL . Mainly bananas...mostly bananas.
It started wtih a bit of overt fat (avo)...the next night...two avos...next night olives and avos...downhill. Last night I had a veggie burger and fries. Wasn't even good. The A1 sauce on it made me have heartburn....4lbs gained in a week.
I want…
