Youtube is my gym. My living room in my playground.

A fine January morning to everyone!I've found myself on this kick of pulling up youtube workouts, and turning my living room into my play space. I'm looking for flexibility exercises. I m fairly flexible for a short, American, female, 26, I can still do front splits on both legs. Middle splits I haven't gained back since a auto accident in 2006. Any suggestions or persons that could help i'd appreciate it. Thanks.P.S. anyone care to weigh in on the Tracey Anderson Method?See More

Overweight Children

I live in the midwest, obesity has been sadly more of a norm. However, it appears within the past five years the "trickle down" or "secondhand obesity"( as said by meme roth) has exploded in children. I'm angry and dumbfounded by, what I see, as blatant child abuse. There are many times, that I wish/want to say something to parents. But, out of social politeness I hold my tongue. Has anyone here confronted a parent or guardian of a over weight child? or Have any raw parents have to explain to…See More

After many years as a vegetarian/vegan, eight after all is said and done. I still felt lacking in health and vigor. Until roughly two years ago, I was unaware that large parts of my diet were making my asthma flare up. This was coupled with the fact the my relationship to food and body image has not always been a positive.
It was around Halloween of last year (2010). that i decided, "Screw it, I'm gonna go raw!". And, I did!
The physical appearance changed in about three to four days, I was not swollen in the face, my skin was even toned and had a glow. I kept this up until Thanksgiving, on which I ate cooked vegan(food not people, lol). Then, fell off raw during december, although my new found addiction to mangoes remained.
Throughout the entire time, I've lurked about on your site and youtube videos. After much contemplation, Im going RAW!

Hmm...making food last when bought in bulk. When to buy in bulk? How does one know that a persimmon is ready to eat and can or should you eat the top? Did you have the stretch you stomach to eat as much as you do in one sitting?
