I dont' know how you all do fruit in places where it doesn't grow - 2 weeks in N.E. U.S. was tough
Oh, I have spent 2 weeks on Cape Cod where it is freezing and snowed in. Organic is so limited at Stop-n-Shop. Banannas were bright green. There are only navel oranges, which are hardly foodlike compared to valencias. They were organic but not good. I had to throw many away, they tasted...fermented? I can't even place the taste, just very wrong. Apples were great! Pears, eh. No whole celery, only beheaded celery in bags. Everything wrapped individually in plastic, like the cucs.

OK, NO FAT Island, anyway
So I thought Id do nanner island about a week and a half ago, but no-go. I'd start in the morn with nanns, then would cave to apples at lunch and cucs and celery at din din...but then also a guac with the cucs or a hemp butter with the celery every third dayish. HARD time backing off the fat for more than 3 days. I KNOW I need to do it. Last weeks lab tests came back with candidiasis levels, parasites of some sort, and I have psoriasis of course (I think it's fat that is the harm in that regard)… Continue

- id love to know some of your t shirt ideas :) are you going to start a website? im not good at catchy slogans but we could use some more good ones out there :) funny when you mentioned in that altruism about your 14 year old niece; i have a 14 yr old cousin that was so excited because at thanksgiving she became all vegetarian (mom had her eating chicken and fish before). i got her a hoodie from pangea that says "animals are my friends and i dont eat my friends"

- oh hey youre not gonna like this but i meant to tell you the eleuthero can take 4-6-8 weeks to work lol. i kept going back to the naturopath and complaining "it wasnt working" but they kept telling me i had to be patient. thats the "trouble" with herbs. they take so freaking long! but they are healing instead of just covering up the problem. also, i think you might notice a difference from the nettles if you get some dried nettle and try the infusions. i got a kick off of it almost. like you were getting a transfusion lol. i think its a quarter cup of herb to a quart of water, pour boiling water over, leave overnight, drink. i really noticed a difference from this, like a big kick. i would get some from the hfs or WF or whatever (easier than drying fresh ones yourself) and then if you like it order a pound or a couple pounds from mountain rose herbs.
haha i can def relate to the enthusiam about wanting to put vegan messages on everything...when i was home at xmas i got a vegan tattoo on my wrist. which is totally out of character for me. but i got a white one, so it shows up more like a scar, its subtle. its not very visible either...but im thinking of doing the other wrist sometime. really hard to find people that will do white ink though as it doesnt have a reputation for coming out good. anyhow, i dont like regular tats but i like the white. i never thought i would ever get a tattoo. theres no other message important enough to me to mark on my body, lol, but this one was. would send a pic but camera is broken...im afraid the condensation from the caravan got into it and ruined it :(

- mish i meant to tell you also NETTLE seed. (see posts on www.healingwiseforum.com) cant personally attest to it as im horrid about taking things regularly, but apparently its even better than nettle leaf in healing the adrenals... (btw nettle leaf is actually tasty raw as the young leaves, if you eat it directly off the plant and roll it the right way so you dont get your tongue stung, lol)
