I started eating a vegan diet in February 2010 to help be less of a fatty. Surprisingly I gained weight when I started eating things I didn't even eat on an omnivore diet- cupcakes, candy bars, treats treats treats! As a fat tired vegan I was looking for another way... perhaps nutrition might help! I started watching many youtube videos for raw vegan diets and the people I watched looked pretty good. The local raw vegan mogule in Chicago looks amazing at 60- there must be something to it. I did raw for about 27 days and felt pretty good but I was pretty surprised with the high fat content, but still managed to lose weight. I still had a problem though... I was always tired. Why am I always tired? I've been eating so healthy blah blah blah. Finally I came across some "radical" fruit eaters. I thought- how great would it be to eat fruit all the time?! I LOVE FRUIT! but it just can't be possible.
Well tell me why all these fruit eaters are athletic, thin, great skin and energetic and happy?
I bought and read the 80/10/10 by DR Graham. I want to learn how to live this lifestyle and be happy and healthy and moving my body.

Well I'm 25 and don't drink or smoke and I'm very interesting in lfrv lifestyle- it seems ideal, but now its a matter of- acquiring all this food all the time (which isn't so awful now I work at a food distribution company with a warehouse of produce I can purchase at cost) it's also a matter of getting my body moving and working out. I grew up such a skinny kid, then got skinnier from unhealthy life choices, quit the reckless life and am feeling like a fat slug. I was athletic as a kid and it was easy- now i just feel like a bum. I hate the idea of being a typical fat American. 5'6 140ish lbs. Not exactly my cup of tea.
