- I spend most of my time....
- currently in trussville, al. working on self-sustainability. my boyfriend josh and i sold almost everything we owned and did a little traveling through the u.s. and costa rica this summer. we're settling down in the woods in alabama for a little while to plant fruit trees and veggies. will be traveling again soon!
we live in a world dominated by material possessions and consuming. it's a cycle of working to pay for things we don't really need. buy less, work less, live more! materials do not contribute to your character. it's not what you buy, it's what you do with your time. don't wait till you retire to do something exciting with your life. you'll waste your prime years away. don't make excuses and say i'll do it next year. live now! stop investing in materials and start investing in yourself. when you look back at your life will you be happier with the memories of traveling, excitement, spontaneity, living simply and humbly, or will you be happier looking back knowing that you spent a good portion of your life working for a bunch of stuff you didn't need?

we have so many clothes but feel we "need" a new shirt or a new pair of jeans. we all have enough clothes in our closet to last a lifetime yet we still go shopping regularly. do your planet and yourself a favor, when you feel like you need something new shop at a thrift store, recycled fashion store or a flea market!
