"One thing that might help with the cramps, might be to get more greens in. By this I mean a head or two of some type of lettuce, or perhaps some spinach, and some celery to help with the sodium cravings. You can always just make a huge…"
"Actually, I am growing a garden for the first time this year. Yesterday I just got my first summer squash and cucumber off the vine. I also have some watermelon, cantelope, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, zucchini, and tomato plants,…"
"I have to second Windlord's suggestion. For me, having a big fruit meal right after an intensive workout makes all the difference. I'm 55 and I'm never sore the next day after even 2 to 3 hour sessions. "
"Also, and I got this tip from Dr. Graham, be sure to have a fruit meal within 2 hours of an intense workout. If you do this, you will recover from your workouts at least 10 times faster, as you replace the lost glycogen in your muscles.…"
"I always enjoy your posts! Also, I loved that movie, "Fat, sick, and nearly dead". Particularly the truck driver segment, was truly inspirational to me. After seeing that movie, I started to use some different green…"

I am married with two children, ages 21 and 25. One is still in college, the other a civil engineer. I have been on a journey to find optimum health for 7 years now. I have tried many diets, Atkins, a holistic diet of mostly raw vegetables with small amount of fruit, but higher in fat. Through it all, I have traveled from 335 lbs, now to 189 lbs, but I want to find optimum health. I have been reading books by Ross Horne which led me to Dr. Graham's book, the 80/10/10 diet. I am hoping this will
be the holy grail for me in regard to health. I'm looking forward to learning from your site.

I am starting the LFRV lifestyle after completing a 31 day water fast. I was using an intermittent fasting lifestyle before this and was able to get my weight under control, but I noticed that when I ate raw vegetables I would gain less weight afterwards. After reading the 80/10/10 diet, and Ross Horne's books, I am convinced this is the optimal health plan, but as I'm new to it, I'm sure I will have questions as I get started for the first several months.
