I can sooo relate to your story. No amount of will power could ever keep me on the path I desired for very long - didn't matter if it was vegan, 801010 or RV. I'd make a resolution and within weeks, days and even…"
"I've been doing 811 for a couple of years now though not 100% raw all the time. I've had stretches of 100% and have done lots of healing in those times. At the moment sustaining about 80-90% most of the week and having a couple…"

I tried hfrv about 6 years ago for about 6 months. I really liked it to a point, but found it completely unmanageable with my life - I was prepping food ALL the time. Since then I've been wanting to get back to raw as my health has declined significantly since then, but I just couldn't stomach all the fats any more. When I came across Freelee on the web I thought this was a way of doing raw that I could probably manage. So about 6 months ago I began on LFRV. I have had some completely all-raw days each week, but I have allowed myself some cooked vegan at dinner (mostly veggie soup, steamed veg, the occasional whole grain but not much).
In that time I have noticed a dramatic difference in my health - sinuses have cleared, digestive upsets cleared up. I had to have helicobacter pylori antibiotics for a stomach infection I aquired over the last few years. But now am off all medication. Skin has completely cleared. Energy is even all day until I drop at 9.30pm. Very even positive mood. Fitness has picked up hugely. Now running straight for 1/2 an hour (couldn't do that a month ago). I've lost 4 kilos which is slower weight loss than I'm used to with HFRV. But I think it's probably better this way. I wanted to go from 72kgs down to about 63-65kgs, and am now sitting at 68. So gotta be happy with that!
Joint aches and pains completely gone. eyes clearing. no itchy skin, constipation and its complications!
I've been following this site but didn't want to join till I was really sure
I'm actually about 1/3 of the way through 80/10/10 - loving it.

Support with keeping the costs of fruit-eating down as much as possible. My grocery bills have doubled, especially since i'm trying to encourage my family to eat more fruit too.

Hi Dandelion- I'm doing very in-depth step work. It's mind blowing. I went for acupuncture today and the L.Ac put one needle in on the top of my head and I started to bubble over and cry. The spiritual work is so intense. I kinda did things the generic O.A. way for awhile, then did a major, major change of direction and started doing it the very traditional way: from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. Almost done with my fourth step; it's a f*cking doozy. But I know I will experience tremendous, miraculous results in all areas of my life if I can follow through on this.
Hi Dandelion- I saw your comment about getting sick of bananas after a couple of days and I've had the same experience. But then I was thinking if I did drink just banana milk for a couple of days of week, that still would be pretty awesome huh?!
Thanks for accepting :) I'm moving from Perth, but I grew up in Moss Vale before moving to Sydney, then the last 2.5 years in Perth. My parents are in the Highlands so I'm heading back to spend some time there and with old Sydney friends. Fantastic to know there's at least one raw comrade in the Highlands!!! Won't be there for a couple of months, but would be great if we could catch up then!
