I tried hfrv about 6 years ago for about 6 months. I really liked it to a point, but found it completely unmanageable with my life - I was prepping food ALL the time. Since then I've been wanting to get back to raw as my health has declined significantly since then, but I just couldn't stomach all the fats any more. When I came across Freelee on the web I thought this was a way of doing raw that I could probably manage. So about 6 months ago I began on LFRV. I have had some completely all-raw days each week, but I have allowed myself some cooked vegan at dinner (mostly veggie soup, steamed veg, the occasional whole grain but not much).
In that time I have noticed a dramatic difference in my health - sinuses have cleared, digestive upsets cleared up. I had to have helicobacter pylori antibiotics for a stomach infection I aquired over the last few years. But now am off all medication. Skin has completely cleared. Energy is even all day until I drop at 9.30pm. Very even positive mood. Fitness has picked up hugely. Now running straight for 1/2 an hour (couldn't do that a month ago). I've lost 4 kilos which is slower weight loss than I'm used to with HFRV. But I think it's probably better this way. I wanted to go from 72kgs down to about 63-65kgs, and am now sitting at 68. So gotta be happy with that!
Joint aches and pains completely gone. eyes clearing. no itchy skin, constipation and its complications!
I've been following this site but didn't want to join till I was really sure
I'm actually about 1/3 of the way through 80/10/10 - loving it.

Thanks for accepting :) I'm moving from Perth, but I grew up in Moss Vale before moving to Sydney, then the last 2.5 years in Perth. My parents are in the Highlands so I'm heading back to spend some time there and with old Sydney friends. Fantastic to know there's at least one raw comrade in the Highlands!!! Won't be there for a couple of months, but would be great if we could catch up then!

Hello!  I understand the mind block with higher calories.  I have the same problem.  But, everyone says over and over to make 2500 the minimum, so I figure I will try it for a week and see!!  If I gain weight, I will rethink this!!!  It sounds like you did great yesterday!  I always try to eat before I cook dinner for the family also.  It really does help!!!  I love my mangoes too.  But, alas the season does come to an end eventually!  I hope your day is wonderful!!!
