Costa Rica Trip

Aloha!... oh wait... that's hawaii... anyhow after that cheesy start. I'm planning on galavanting around costa rica for an indefinite period of time. Half as a fun travel trip, half to go and check the viability of it being a fruity home for moi. Reached a new level of chill in my life so the hustle and bustle of modern day life has lost its appeal and nature calls with her sweet caress. So just wanting to know if anybody is keen to be a travel buddy? I don't mind missioning on my own as well…See More

Howdy Fruit Munchers!I'm busy putting together a website on consciousness and all the different aspects of it. One of the things I want to do is introduce people to the concept of raw veganism on the site. I was hoping you guys could help me out and give me some testimonials on how raw veganism has transformed your life for the better (where you're from, how long you've been doing it, the benefits you experienced and anything else you'd like to add). Also I'm looking for before and after photos…See More

Dreaming Reality

Hey all, I'm putting together a social networking website to do with awakening and stuff. I just did my first youtube vid and just keen on getting some feedback (gotten feedback that perhaps I'm explaining things too fast, so perhaps split it into two vids and it needs better lighting and background, so gonna go do it in nature):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-z77QzRXqs&feature=youtu.bePeace :)See More

Hi Michael!
Thanks for your reply! Nice, I really love Afrikaans, to me it sounds so beautiful and absurd at the same time. Good to hear about how you’re doing out there. Looking forward to see if we can communicate face-to-face combining Dutch and Afrikaans!

Yeah it’s gonna be the first time for me doing Vipassana, so I’m really excited. I’ll be doing it a few days after arriving in Nairobi. Didn’t book my flight yet but planning on arriving in the beginning of December. I’m very very excited to go there!

Today I received an email from Joshua, inviting me to stay at his farm on the island. So that’s cool. He added me on facebook a while ago and found out today that I’m planning on going to Kenya. I never knew he was the guy you talked about. Did you introduce me to him? Otherwise it must have been some kind of crazy coincidence that he added me there. Or a beautiful act of cosmic attraction!

So you’re talking about the divide between people living in ‘the program’ and those who don’t. What program do you mean? Is he organizing some kind of workshop or retreat? Or do you mean that he is living his everyday life more in connection to ‘the system’, connected to, for instance, money matters more then you?

Right now I’m diving into the visa and other necessary paper stuff etc. Will book my flight this week. Did you get any vaccinations when you got to Kenya? How long have you been there for now, staying legally with a visa and all or do you find it to be unnecessary?

I am thinking of getting from Nairobi to the island by bus. I found there is a ferry going to the island from Mbita. I’m really looking forward to get to Kenya and be in nature and just be. Swimming, reading and meditating sounds amazing. So I hope you’re still going to be there when I arrive, so we can turn this conversation into a real life 3D experience haha.

Do you have anything to play table tennis? I can bring you some bats and a ball if you’d be happy. I’m also bringing my 2 hula-hoops. I have so much fun with them.

Hey thanks so far for all the info it’s good to be in touch, getting informed about how you’re living this personal experience, thanks for opening up and sharing it with me!

Sending you lots of light, peace, dates from the box and love!

Hugs from the bitter cold winter in the Netherlands

Hey dearest Wild Light!
How are you doing? Hey I'm sincerely planning on getting to nairobi mid-december, doing a 10day Vipassana course there and head for the island... I've been following your threat on Free Fruit Holiday. Also found Leonid's Facebook Page. So, what I understood is that there are 2 communities on the island... how does that work? Are they totally independent, work together, how different are they? How do you feel in your space? What I found on Leo's page is that their community asks for 150€ per week per visitor, if I got that right.. Wrote him an email that I have yet to send with some questions about that. Its a shame to have to talk about money when what it's all about can never be expressed in terms of money value. See I'm willing to help the community, if that is in money, I understand and am willing to commit in those termes also...but I'd like to be actively helping out there, help organize activities, any kind of ideas people come up with that support the community... Planning on staying for a longer while would be great if it wouldnt cost me so much cause if it would I could never stay there for long. How do you do this...? Are there other ways to stay on the island? How do you sleep, independently out in nature or are you staying at Joshua's place, if he has a space for visitors? Are you planning on staying?
Looking forward to hearing from you, and meeting you in person when I get there... Sending you lots of sweet energy and kickass vibrations.. to truly enjoy what you are doing and feel good about the decisions youve been taking in your life! Live it and love it :-)
Hugs from the cold Netherlands,
Leonie

Hahahahahaha I will take a camcorder! I feel the spirit of what is happening there, it is more than can be explained or understood on here, though Pom is a warrior and tries. I would fly there tomorrow, but I must return to Portugal to take care of some land and animals for my ex while he works abroad, and then I wait to see the impact of comet Elenin, also known as planet X, as the earth re aligns with it on sept 26th then Oct 16th. the last three times the earth aligned with it, we had mass earthquakes during the same day and time, the last being Japan. I will travel directly after these dates.

I hope you find the place that calls your heart to it, too.

Warmest hugs xxxx

It was really really hard for me to decide to stop going to school. I am still partially going this semester. I was taking an anatomy course, but it got super stressful. I am now just take a class on stress management where we study yoga, tai chi and meditation. It's an awesome class. Then I am taking my triathlon training class and a cycling class. Fitness is my passion and I LOVE biking, running and swimming. I am actually training for some races this summer and that is pretty much what I do with my free time. I can't imagine being able to bike, run through the jungles and swim in the clean waters when ever I wish. I could teach yoga classes and fitness classes. Oh it would be SO fun. It suck though because I have loans from college. I wish I had taken time off after high school to decide what I really wanted to do instead of taking all these courses that (yes they educated me more in a way) but they were really unnecessary. I could of learned by reading a book such as easily. Anyways, I really hope this community works out. It has always been my dream to live away from society and all the negatives that come with it. I want to sell everything I own because material things do not bring happiness. I want to live somewhere where everything is pretty much shared and equal and no one is better then others. I will keep my fingers crossed!!

What are you currently doing in your life right now? Job? I am a nanny and have been for 2 years. I wanted to work at whole foods but it is becoming a whole different environment. Seems like most people want to work there for the status and that drives me crazy. I need to work more though because my loans are kinda big and I would really like to move to this community that we are talking about!
