"Sounds like you've managed the transition just right! :) I would say to go 100%, add a fruit meal in early in the evening, and then follow it up with a big salad later on. Make sure you get enough calories and you should be fine cuting out the…"

"In one if Freelee's videos she suggests a bunch of boiled potatoes without salt or anything as your last meal of the day. Eat as much as you want and pretty soon you'll lose interest in cooked food!"

Hello! My name is Alison :) I am originally from New York, but am currently residing in the lovely New Zealand.

Since high school (I am 23) I have been heavily interested in being healthy and fit. I always played sports, danced, tired to eat healthy (or what I thought) diet, and all that jazz. I have never been overweight, but I feel I have never reached my optimum fitness and health level. About two years ago, I found out I have PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) which as you probably know falls under the category of insulin resistance. Well, I took the medications for it, was told there was basically nothing you can do but "be healthy," and I have not been satisfied with the results. I stopped taking the medication, and have been seeking alternative ways to be healthy. My partner stumbled upon videos about raw vegan diets, and I naturally was intrigued. I began to do more searching myself, and found an endless amount of testimonies of how the low fat raw vegan diet has changed peoples lives, and has even helped some people eradicate PCOS. I am currently a university student, in a science program, and after taking many classes, I understand why the raw vegan diet works, it makes SO much sense, especially concerning my PCOS situation. I truly believe that the low fat high carb diet with totally change my life, and wipe PCOS and its nasty side-effects away. I love watching freelees videos as well as other awesome raw chicks like FullyRawKristina. They are such an inspiration of health and well-being! So, long story short, I am new to this lifestyle, but I am totally obsessed with it! I am seeking all the guidance I can find so as to make this lifestyle work, and you guys know what you're doing :). I would love to be part of such an awesome community, and learn and thrive with like-minded individuals. This is something I am already becoming passionate about, and I have only just begun. It is my goal to be able to give an awesome testimony about the low fat raw lifestyle in the future. You guys rock, thank you for being a picture on inspiration, and I hope I can join you :).

I am very new to this! Teach me your ways wise masters. Seriously, I would love some guidance from experienced 30bad'ers to guide me into this lifestyle, and help ensure that I am doing it RIGHT, and am not just chasing the bandwagon. I know that it is ultimately up to me, but being accountable and having guidance always helps. Also, it's great to feel connected to people who think the same way as you, right now I do not know anyone who is living this lifestyle, although my partner is very keen to try ;).

Hi. I'm Bella. I thought I was the only raw vegan in Auckland until I found you on here. It's good to feel like I'm not totally alone. I have joined a few vegan groups here but they were very high fat junk food vegan and some were still vegetarian, I have no idea why, maybe they didn't know how horrific the dairy industry is. I am hoping to move back over to Aussie where my family is but am currently doing my Sport and Rec Degree here. Nice to say hello, and hope the frutarian lifestyles going well. I just bought some Mangosteen today.. Quite excited as I had never tried them.✌️Bella
