Cool videos, WL. I still haven't seen a picture of you... could this secretly be your video blog? Until I'm proven otherwise, I'll assume it is.
I'm sure his energy bars are better than any other confectionery bar, but I bet they don't give me as much energy as I have when I have a green juice though. Or better still live on ripe bananas and green juice! ... ....Rocket fuel!

A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.
His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.
After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.
As he maneuvered his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window.
"I love it," he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
"Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room; just wait."
"That doesn't have anything to do with it," he replied.
Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.
Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged .... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it.
'It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.
Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away. Just for this time in my life.
Old age is like a bank account.
You withdraw from what you've put in.
So, my advice to you would be
to deposit a lot of happiness
in the bank account of memories!
Namaste
Thanks Windlord. I will try to post my training and diet as I continue along! We had 76 miles of hiking and running in the week leading up to the race on Sunday. Not exactly a proper taper, but fun no less. I'm hoping to take the next week or so easy and then get up around 100 miles a week for the next handful of weeks.
Yes I practice martial arts (since I was 14). I received my 1st degree brown belt in Tae Kwon Do before switching to American Karate (a combo of all sorts of diiferent martial arts) where I am currently at Advanced Brown.
Thanks so much... I am at the end of 1st trimester... the part that got my the most was the spiral, I've read much about that, I've been a dancer all my life and when I saw that... I was like crapparooni, why wasn't I dancing when I was in labor???!!! I love my midwife as much as one could, but I was like, even she didn't know that, and I intuitively knew I needed more freedom to be exactly as I am, and I think if I felt empowered and supported enough to freebirth the first time, I totally would've been dancing my ass off... so yeah, I'm gonna get that film for sure. Also I'm totally gonna call you on the fruity scores, we live in a horrible place for produce and we're planning to get a bunny for our daughter in Phoenix soon, so I'll be asking you what kinda deals we can get really soon! Thanks again!
thx for letting me know!
i've posted on the thread. the comments by the fishermen in the article were typically unastonishing. i will also draw notice to it in our 30badigos group.
I love your photos! Especially of the baby in the watermelon, eating watermelon, and in the produce shelf. :-D Also your story about deciding to be happy is fabulous. :-D
Awesome thanks for the Birth As We Know It Link... I heard about these and read the Odent book before I was pregnant with my first... this was the birth I dreamed of the first time, this time I'm a lot more confident and determined to do it in a more suitable way... I loved my first birth, but this time I'm ready. :) Thanks for the link I cried my silly hormonal eyes out! Awesome that you're in Phoenix too, we were going to search for Phoenix folk here, it is the closest city for us and we plan to visit and get some good fruit and try to connect and do some 'work' there too! Thanks again. :)
Haha, turning 18 isn't much of a thing in my case. I don't drink, and I don't want to drive, vote or anything of that. I probably wont do anything for this year, I thought about inviting some cooked vegan friends for a dinner, but one of the would-be main guests is locked up at the moment (for some animal rights activism) :/. Now I simply don't have enough time...
So the big Zday is approaching. I have a ticket and am excited to be attending my first one. Bringing lots of dates with me as it will be a LONG day. Hope to report back on a wonderful experience!
Yes just dont eat on it go on juice fast then when swelling down get cavity filled with white stuff. Its better than having your tooth killed which they will try to do
Spekgirl, what is the problem with mixing chia and fruit or mixing foods in a salad?
I'm not sprouting anything to eat, just trying to grow papaya trees!
Windlord, yup I'm going to check out the Blue Nile Cafe.
