I am a Mom of a 3 year old boy and married to my best friend and love of my life who is also a 811RV. I am currently a Stay at Home Mom and will be starting my Masters in Education for 0-6 year old Children this summer to become a Montessori Guide for Infants. I wholeheartedly believe in Education and in supporting Human Development. I believe that 0-6 is one of the crucial human development stage that lasts a lifetime and that my work with Children is my calling in life. I have a BFA in Studio Art and a BA in Philosophy from University of Texas at Austin. I focused my studies on Existentialism and Eastern Philosophy and studied with the great Philosopher Robert Solomon and worked with an amazing artist William Lundberg. I also studied in Italy and at NYU to further my Education in Art and Philosophy.
I've done the Corporate career trek after College and came to realize that it was making me miserable and that I was being called to work with Children using my creativity, knowledge, and huge amount of faith and love in Human Development in relation to the Evolution of Consciousness.
I have been a Vegan on and off for many years with a very unhealthy relationship with food due to issues with Body Image. I've tried various diets for weight loss but I never felt great. I've succeeded on occasions but never maintaining the loss for more than 3 years. I was constantly losing and gaining. I even fell for the Paleo diet last year doing Crossfit and ate meat with lots of cheese even though I hated it to lose weight.
The death of my father last year from a stroke helped me get more aligned with my health. He was the last in his family line and stroke ran in his family. I water fasted last year for 19 days unsupervised after reading about it via several books and sources. I kicked off 2012 by focusing mainly on my health since I am hitting the big 40 this year. I went on a Juice Feast for over a month long staying mostly high raw and getting hydrocolonics. I recently came to this site via Freelee's videos on Youtube. I first thought she was a little wacky until I started listening to Dr. Douglas Graham and then I became convinced that Freelee is an amazing powerful Woman with a message that can help so many Women out there and me included.
I am Vegan for spiritual, ethical, and environmental concerns and I will never go back to being an Omnivore. I feel completely inspired by 30BDay community and reading all of the success stories.
I finally feel like I am at a happy place with food eating 811RV and I don't think I can ever go back to eating the SAD way and the constant yo-yo dieting.
I love to get support to be 100% this year and meet like minded people through this medium. I hope to one day forge a community and help change the way people think about their food consumption and how they can make a huge difference in the world just by what they consume.
I've been a meditator since 1996, a Buddhist in practice and Mindful Awareness advocate. I love to read various schools of thought on Spirituality, about Brain/Mind Sciences, anything on Human Development, Evolution of Consciousness, Psychology, Social Media, and list goes on.

Thanks for the friend request. I have experienced some really awesome results so far over the last 3 months (clear skin, shiny hair, weight loss, energy, fighting immune system, clear head, lessening of sinusitis etc etc), but since winter has descended I'm psychologically having a tough time (add that to an increased workload, and a couple of social events).
My typical day is green smoothie in the morning, fruit till 5pm and then fruit and salad and something cooked for dinner. I try to have steamed veg, potatoes, rice for dinner, but sometimes will have a little bit of meat/fish if I'm making it for my family. Lately I've noticed this is happening a bit more.
I have noticed that the more water I drink the less I seem to want to eat things other than LFRV, so I think it might be a hydration issue. I'm just finding as the weather gets colder that I just don't want to drink as much water. Trying to replace it with hot water instead, but this doesn't always happen...
