Could some long time 811ers weigh in on this article?

One of my vegan-resistant friends just sent me this article and would like to hear my opinion on it. He's one of those people who is constantly playing "gotcha" and I'm doing my best just trying to answer all of his questions. Can I get a little help here? Thank you in advance!

Healed myself of recurring Pericarditis by switching from a cooked vegan diet to a gourmet vegan diet. Recently found 80/10/10 and have noticed a lot of new improvements. Interested in connecting w/ others who are in search of an optimal lifestyle. :)

I would like to hear about Tamarind. Also, opinions on juicing tougher greens like kale? I don't seem to digest them well blended in a fruit smoothie.

Dear Amanda. I was very excited to read that you healed yourself from pericarditis. I am almost certain I have it too. I'm awaiting some more tests and to see some more doctors. Would you please tell me how long it took for you to heal. I would love to talk about this more with you. Kind regards, Jane.
