Thailand in June?

I'm thinking of traveling around Thailand in June and July, longer if I like it. I know it's a wet time of year, but I want to stay in Hawaii for awhile. Chiang Mai sounds like where I'd want to spend most of my time, but I would also like to run the Phuket half marathon on June 12. Anybody else think they'll be around during this time?See More
