Yesterday I decided to have a thali at The Taste of Lewisham. They're only available until 5pm, so it was a daytime meal. I haven't been treating diet with strict discipline, and I don't intend to, so I didn't argue with myself about it: I fancied it so I had it. This isn't a case of feeling like I should eat raw again, it's more that eating a kilo of potatoes was getting a bit laborious, even in a nice tomato based soup. It's so much easier to eat a kilo of bananas! The transition back to raw felt completely natural.
I've had 3 days raw food now and my energy is back up and I'm feeling great - hopefully this will stay a bit longer this…

After nearly three weeks of high energy good feeling fruitarianism I began to feel drained and weak. I was eating plenty - greater than 5000 kcals most days. My belly hurt after each meal. My water intake was around 2 - 3 litres a day. Sleep? I was getting a good amount of time in bed although getting up 2 or 3 times a night to pee was a little annoying and I wonder if this was contributing to tiredness? My running back from the coffee shop each day became easier and my time for this…
