The volunteering Sabrina mentioned is a great idea.

When I was dating, my first date was usually to a fruit tree(or berry patch) to harvest fresh fruit. The ideal situation would be a fig or orange tree that I would have to climb. The woman, usually a virgin to the whole concept of harvesting your ...

I love to make nifty food combos, talk with people, learn about nutrition, travel, sing, play piano and well, basically just enjoy life! What I'd really love to do is make raw food, veganism, basically healthy eating mainstream, that's why I'm trying to get it all out and accesible through my blog.

My favourite book,movies,authors....
Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë, Emily Brontë, Harry Potter (deal with it!), The Hobbit, many movies and I'm always asking for recommendations, so if you've got any tell me!
Welcome! Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together lowfat rawvegans across the Globe! Please be kind & respectful of eachother. What raw assistance do u need?
I'd just love to join a community full of sweet people who are just as interested in health and nutrition as I am. I'm pretty much a newbie, so any advice would come in handy.
Heya Tina,
How are you?
No, you are quite right about the (subtle) reference to political preference (left)... But I do prefer the colour blue, never really cared much for red lol. :-)
Those yellow dates are unripe barhi dates, they turn brown and translucent when ripe.
Omg, yay! Thats such good news! :D
Yes, please show me around, I'd love to get to know Holland more!
Yayyyy, I'm jumping with joy atm... it will be the first time that I've met a LFRV let alone raw let alone vegan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Juice feasing was good and I feel great... But I get such an intense craving for fruit and carbs (not cooked.. just fruit!)!!! So I prefer just to integrate green juice into my diet once in a while (though I know it's not 80/10/10 approved ;).. :)
Is it easy to get fruit there?
What are you going to do for Christmas... I think I might get a durian in place of a turkey! ;)
YAY!
Have an amaaaaaaaazing day!
AJ
Hello there!
If you don't mind me asking, whereabouts do you live in Holland?
I am just wondering because my grandparents live there, and I might be going there at Christmas... they live in Milsbek (I don't know how to spell it.. sorry!) near Nijmegen. Anywhere near you? Would LOVE to meet up if it is!!!! :D
Love your blog btw!
Have an awesome day!,
AJ
Hey Tina,
So how was your pre graduating test? I had the writing part last week - on Wednesday grammar&literature, on Thursday math and on Friday history. On Monday it was a chosen language (German or English), I had that day off as I've graduated of it last year to have one less subject this year : )
On this Tuesday I had written biology and today the verbal part - for me - of grammar&literature, history and biology.
The score of my written tests seems to have reached the highest grade of 5 (I think its an A in the USA for example and maybe a 1 in Germany as far as I know), yey! : ) Now, only the verbal part remains a question, as I have had the "bad luck" (not, I've attracted it for a reason...) of getting the only theorem of history that I didn't know lol. Anyway, conclusion: next time I'll bother with studying hahaha, so that I'm in the high end of the 5, %-wise (the number of grades depends on how much % you got for your test - eg 100%-80% you get 5, from 79%-60% or something similar you get a 4 and so on) and not in the middle if that makes any sense : )
Anyway, hope you've done a fantastic job on your tests too!
I just checked out your blog, cool stuff! I was inspired by the apples and caramel dip pictures so now I'm running a mile to the store for some fresh dates:-D
greetings tina!
thx for the add - as well as signing the petition.
i know you said you were disillusioned and that is understandable considering what goes on, but we can be happy that there were so many action responses to the majlo thread.
i like your blog btw. the photos are very good and your experimentations are written up in a delightful way and there is some nice wisdom there too ... and i like both your pics on the polls.
It always cheers me up when someone takes an interest in the Zeitgeist movement. If you'd like to see the two stimulating films that got it started, here's a link: www.zeitgeistmovie.com. I'd skip the first film if you dislike the conspiratorial tone and the speculative nature of some of the purported facts (I've read some of the material behind the films and think the evidence is pretty solid so far, contrary to what "debunkers" claim).
I've seen episodes of several other animes, including a few of the very popular ones (like Naruto - which went nowhere), and a few of the classic ones (like Cowboy Bebop), but none came close to captivating me as much as Death Note, which is one of the few I watched to its conclusion -- BTW, here's a question I always like asking people who've seen Death Note: whom did you root for, Light (and his partners) or L (and his successors)?
Serj is wonderful. I've got his little poet collection, 'Cool Gardens'. It's, well, cool. As for the other bands, they're great if you like punk music (especially Bad Religion, which has some of the best lyrics I've heard). A couple of them (Saul Williams and Flobots) are great if you haven't given up on the possibility that there might be rap/hip-hop/spoken-word which is actually good. Philip Glass is my favorite classical composer. Hypnotizing pieces...
... What kind of music do you like, play and/or create?
*Squeezy hugs!*
(P.S.: I voted five on your entry on that site, but you don't need to send me a gift - unless it's a really good one!)

Yes, I agree Chad.
I like a little bit of onion every now and again on my salads. Garlic on the other hand I use to like when I ate cooked. Can't handle raw garlic, so don't eat it now.
I generally finish my last meal between 8.00 to 8.30pm. I'm in bed by 9.30pm at the latest and then up at 3.00am. I have no problem with digestion on a LFRV diet, doing it this way, however when I was on the SAD I ha serious problems.
