March 15th 2012 quit smoking and meat, was tired of eating myself sick and feeling horrible all the time. My diet has progressed to raw vegan and loving it. Have been chowing down on fruits and vegetables. I have so much energy now and am able to meditate and think clearly. The benefits are tremendous! My intent is to continually improve my health and cycle and run daily.

I want to start running again, I have a very phisically demanding job, walk up to 12 miles per day plus lifting and now I have still more energy and want to start running. I was amazing in high school, beat state champ in cross country, competed in Nationals, I miss running, I'm sure I will need help with how much to boost my carbs, etc. After quitting smoking I ate sunflower seeds like crazy,Im off of nuts/seeds now, I dont know if raisins would be a good substitute, I love to snack constantly.

For the past 20 years I have totally disrespected my body. This morning I did 25 min. on a stationary cycle. I bought it last night. I gave up meat 4 months ago and have been hcrv for about a month, things are going really well, i am willing to do what it takes. I get up early to exercise, meditate, and make time for my health.
