Reed replied to Alexandra R.'s discussion Extreme itch?
"Sorry I don't have more time but you'll need to read up on how to clean all you're bedding, clothing and pillows as they should also be decontaminated to kill the eggs/nits as it sounds like you might have some re-infestation…"

Reed replied to Martin Holde's discussion Does anyone know how to send .gpx-files to a Garmin Edge 200?
"I've never had the 200 but had the 705 and 405 and I would upload 2 gb maps on the 705. The 200 has a mini USB port and can be used as data storage device. I don't know if it reads .gpx natively but you can convert the files with other…"

Reed replied to Wendy Harvey's discussion harley why don't you jog?
"I've just about living in the ocean this summer. Bodyboarding 2-3 hours non-stop everyday 6 days a week. Today it was red flag and nice big waves. It's a great workout and salt water and sun has been used to treat various skin…"

Reed replied to Wendy Harvey's discussion harley why don't you jog?
"Do hill climbs walking then work up to jogging. Jogging does have the most injuries but if done with care it strengthens your bones and ligaments. I know you can find a bike if you really want one. Even a used one will allow really good workouts…"

Reed replied to JackfruitJames's discussion Help needed .... how to respond to "I can't lose weight I'm different .... because of my hormone levels, the HCG diet or the xyz diet will only work"
"Instead of asking us for testimonials and documented evidence (they are everywhere). It would be easier looking at the woman you mentioned and their blood tests to see why a doc would prescribe HCG.  HCG is (Human chorionic…"

Reed replied to Riela Molinuevo's discussion Sweating like crazy, what's going on?

Reed replied to Riela Molinuevo's discussion Sweating like crazy, what's going on?
"It's a few things. You'll notice the people that aren't sweating either have very little body fat or have terrible metabolisms and also have cold hands and feet. Part of the sweating is seasonal. You're sweating to remove excess…"

Reed replied to RawPeruana's discussion Are humans selfish?
"Animals everywhere devour other animals their entire lifespan. A 100% meat diet. Is it wrong or evil for them to do that or is it only wrong of selfish for humans as we have other food options for survival when some animals don't?"

Reed replied to Adam's discussion Convincing wholesale produce distributors to sell to you?

Reed replied to Kayla Marie's discussion How is fruitarianism better than veganism?

"200km, that's a baby ride :) When you get up to 3000 mile mountain bike rides with 5 days of rain (with no supply crew and carrying your own gear) you might change your mind. :) Seriously, most of the pro cyclists and even the triathletes use…"

Reed replied to Jon Kozak's discussion chafing and cycling!!!! what do you do?
"Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly), padded bike shorts and a narrow bike seat all help. You can also be sore as hell (without chaffing) when you up your miles dramatically but that soreness will pass after more long rides."

Reed replied to Wonderlust's discussion Do you believe it's possible to have a long-term relationship with a SAD eater?
"Your answers are funny. Vegans are only about 5% of the worlds population so many of you will have a pretty limited supply of potential mates.  Personally as long as they ate a relatively healthy diet and took care of themselves I wouldn't…"

On day 25 of 100% raw Juicing with endless greens and fruits. I'm eating until I'm full and down 21 pounds so far. Adding more fruit now as I was eating 15 pounds of leafy vegetables a day and actually need more carbs. Probably close to a 80:10:10 diet without even thinking about it as that seems to be the balance with lot's of Raw fruits and greens.
