So, I had 6 awesome weeks and then came week 7 and everything suddenly seemed to get really difficult.
I don't know why but I lost my motivation and felt like "why?" I gained some weight back, felt lethargic, unhappy with myself. It was so much harder to go to the gym. And I am just overall disappointed with myself for the past week.
I have stayed great about not eating animal products but cooked food had a little bit of a hold on me. And then I got my period.....I…

So, in the US today is 4th of July. I was laughing this morning to my husband saying "let's run to the store and get donuts and coffee and cinnamon rolls...." He laughed and said "I'll go whip you up a smoothie". But this had been our previous routine on holidays. So SAD-in both senses!!
I love eating clean. I feel so much happier and healthier. We went out for lunch today and I stared at the menu....NOTHING SOUNDED EVEN REMOTELY GOOD. I couldn't believe it. In less than a…

So it has been a little more than three weeks and I feel great. I am starting to see some change in my face and my body. I still have a long ways to go on this journey and I am fighting cravings with carbs. Doing Freelee's challenge has been helpful these past four days...accountability goes a long way for me.
On the GREaT side I am signed up for a mini triathlon for August 18th with a friend. I am totally pumped about doing this. Not only am I signed up but I am also training…

So, this is day 11 Today and I have great progress reports for myself. And one bad thing: My awesome MacBookPro of four years bit the dust due to a faulty graphics card. The worst part: I have video editing deadlines this week and we do not have lots of money as a family. No financial way of fixing or replacing this computer---this means no video edits, which was my beginning of a way to try and make money as a stay at home mom... I am trying not to worry about it too much because at this…

Peter Csere said… Hi Stephanie, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad I have been able to help you! I don't copyright any of my advice :-D so feel free to pass on the luvvv. I like the banana box photos, very cute... I have to be careful of my banana boxes because the bunnies like to jump in the top and have a feast.
Greenmama said… Hi Stephanie, Thanks for the comment on my blog! I wish I had a decent camera to take pictures with. Mine is so fuzzy you can hardly make out what you are looking at. I hope to get a better camera this summer.

Glad you've received so much help from Megan's vids. She's a friend of mine, and just as lovely a being in person as on screen.

Greenmama said… Hi Stephanie. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. I actually started Freelee's Challenge inspired by something Freelee said. She said do all aspects of the lifestyle for a full year before you start complaining and freaking out. I hope to inspire lots of people to take Freelee's Challenge. Jump right in! Hugs! Oh, and I just noticed you only live about 100 miles away from me. I am having a greens party at my house on June 2nd if you want to come.
