If you haven't already guessed, I am not that motivated to 'exercise'. I love walking as I never got my driving license so for me walkign serves the purpose of getting me from A to B - and exercises me by default.
Children do not exercise, they play; that is exactly how I like to approach things. I have my hoola hoop:…

Yikes it's been ages since I blogged- apologies dear fruity friends.
Ok so there have been some set-backs. December got really busy for me business-wise (I run 4 businesses!) and I just plain old forgot to do my online fruit order TWICE in a row so for 2 weeks had very low fruit stocks - so oput came the cooked food :-( Twas my own fault I kn ow but at the time there's was nothing I could do after the event - the fruit place has a specific ordering schedule and I missed my…

oops just realised it's been ages since I blogged my progress! I have to admit there has been a bit of a wobble as we hit the colder, greyer, wetter weather here in Devon, UK and a few times I have succumbed to a vegan cooked meal for dinner (after having fruit meals all day) just because I am one of those people who feels the cold so bad anyway. But this was just temporary and was probbaly more psychological than anything - as a scientist I KNOW that we don't need hot meals to keep us warm…

I can't believe I have made it this far! This is the easiest healthy diet/lifestyle by far. I spend no time in the kitchen and there is almost zero washing up - its the perfect 'lazy girl' diet. So where am I now. Well constantly improving seems to be the overall theme of this journey, just when I think things have slowed down I suddenly experience another quantum leap in my health/vitality/looks etc.
I the last 2 weeks (since my last blog in which I had joyfully got back…

PeteVegan said… Hi Star! Hope you don't mind that I'm asking for some advice since you're a nutritionist and seem to be very succesful on this lifestyle.
I'm having some difficulties with cronometer because despite choosing the 811 option, the nutritional target suggestions are still the ones created by SAD pushers. According to cronometer I'm overdosing on nearly all vitamins and minerals except for the ones typically "found" in animal products such as calcium or iron (I know it's not true though lol) and deficient in others such as selenium and sodium. What nutritional targets do you have for those vitamins and minerals yourself and what do you eat to reach them? Those are the only ones I have trouble with... the rest is clear. I'd appreciate some help just to feel a sense of peace and to be able to prove to people around me that I'll be alright. Thanks, even if you can't help! Cheers.

the Phenomenal Lauren G said… Thanks so much for your help with the Master Cleanse Question. I'm new to this lifestyle. As complicated as it seems. I think it really simplifies the complicated American Dieting Tips we have been taught and it feels complicated. Question by question. I am getting it. Thanks soooo much!
