"How many calories were you getting? If you were only eating blueberries one week it is no wonder your body craves dense calories, because you'd have to eat A LOT of a lot of a lot of blueberries to get in sufficient calories."

I really want to write a blog post about this because it has become a revelation to me that ever since I became vegan Thanksgiving has become my favorite holiday. Before being vegan I couldn't stand all the food that we had to eat and feeling gross and tired after every holiday. Ran my fastest 5k Today!!!!

I haven't posted on here in months, but I thought it was a good time to give an update. I've been following 80/1/1 for a few months now but not all fruit. Just vegan cooked foods.

So anyways, I ran my fastest 5k today, 26 minutes which for most of you is probably not that impressive but considering I just started running in May of this year, I'd say that is a great improvement! So yes, I have my first 5K race coming up May 26! I can't wait!

Just to show you how awesome veganism improves your athletic ability...

I have not run or done any aerobic exercise in a few years. I was able to fully run 1-3 miles every single day this week! I went from 0-3 miles in just three days! I've never been able to run like this in my life. It is so freaking amazing. Vegan power for the win!

Yup....I can't stop eating these mangoes. They are so freaking good. I tried the altualfo mangoes for the first time a few days ago and now all I can eat are mangoes.

I'm so happy :)
