I have been really interested in the 80/10/10 approach and while googling and reading a ton of forums, I came across some of freelee's posts. It naturally led me here. So, I am hoping to gain some insight that will help keep me motivated to continue a healthier path. : )

We have unfortunately been a family that has been living the average american diet and our bodies show it. I am 33 and am scheduled for a full hysterectomy in 5 days. This is a life changing moment for me. I'm watching my health deteriorate and my weight soar. I need to turn that around.
