i'm Sarah, I'm 19 years young living in Canada. Growing up I was a meat eating kid but once I hit the age of 16 I began to wake up and snap out of the madness. I changed my dietary habits and went Vegetarian then eventually Vegan and haven't looked back since. the past couple years i've been totally vegan but little did I know just how much fat I was consuming with lots of oils nuts and avocados, meanwhile thinking it was all carbs that were the culprit to my feeling so s***... I began looking for answers. Desperate to get healthy, fit, lean and strong (which I have never been in my life) I came across a lot of interesting information, but nothing really got to me until I went on youtube and saw Durianrider's inspiring no bulls*** approach to the whole low fat raw vegan lifestyle. I was truly blown away began to learn more. I have learned so much from Harley and Freelee. I began to educate myself further about health and wellness by Reading the books 80,10,10 By Doug Graham as well as the China study By Colin Campbell, since reading them there is no way I would ever go back to the way I was eating before now, my diet now consists of a low fat cooked vegan diet lots of rice, potatoes, oatmeal and in the morning i typically always eat a ton of fruit and for lunch more fruit and lots of greens i'm going to just keep on doing it. No calorie restriction What i really want to get out of 30BAD is really to just connect with other people on the same path i'm not 100% yet. My motivation is to get the fittest i can possibly be, adding more physical activity into my life, and getting to meet awesome people. x

Just focus on keeping it low fat no oils, and salts try to go easy on the spices.
Keep as much ripe fresh fruit as well as variety as you can around the house. Seems like when I'm just out of bananas is when I start to crave them, then I open the fridge and its helloooooo dates! I thought I ate the best pomegranate in the world the other night. Made a persimmon, orange, date, celery, dressing that made me wish persimmon would ripen like yesterday.
I always find myself surprised how much better everything is then I thought it would be.
Sounds like your right on track with the activity its an on going process that you want to build slowly and enjoy. No sense in making it something your dread. Make sure its something you really enjoy and can create a healthy habit out of it.
