cool.. i like both endurance and strength activities.. the fact that you haven't done much of it will only make your initial improvement come that much faster.. you'll make gains quickly if you're committed.. have fun

if you're skinny and under-muscled, my guess is that you're body will respond rapidly and largely with big efforts in strength training, as long as you really pack in the calories train a lot of full body moves like squats, deadlifts, cleans etc wi…

Upon Returning Home From Asia

I want to take some time to jot down my feelings upon returning home from my one month trip through some of the countries in southeast Asia and the most time I’ve ever spent truly on my own.

First off, I consider my time spent over the last month to be very rewarding, not only for the beautiful experiences that I had in sights, tastes, and interactions, but in my development in aspects of my character and perspectives.

I visited such a spectrum of beautiful locations, and this includes places… Continue

Last Day in Chanthaburi

It's 15:18 (gotta get used to the 24 hour clock, which I kinda like). Today I went to the Nom Tuk Phiu national park and the Pui waterfalls. It was a good time. I got a ride there from town center. As I was about to go it was looking like dark clouds rolling in, but I braved it anyway, as I had gone to bed excited about it and already pretty much had my mind made up.

It started downpouring about 5 mins before they dropped me at the park gates lol. Awesome that it only lasted about 15 minutes or… Continue

first few days in thailand

all's going great.. been hanging in chanthaburi the first 2 days thus far.. first day i spent finding my way in, and out, of bangkok.. that place is chaotic and i knew i wanted to be out of there ASAP.. the bus ride to chanthaburi was a bit painful, as i had fasted for almost my entire trip here (about 24 hours) and not eaten much once off the plane, and all we kept passing were mounds and mounds of durian and jackfruit, trucks full of pineapple, and all kinds of other fruit stands lol

i've spe… Continue

Great Quotation

i have been reading 'the ringing cedars series' and am currently on book four.. i ran across a great quote tonight that i thought was perfect to post here:

I arise, and the dawn smiles, befriending,
I walk miles, and the birds sing above,
And this day will have never an ending,
Because ever more deeply I love.
Along the sun's road with light footsteps a-stealing,
I enter my Father's own ground,
My eyes see the path, but my feet have no feeling,
My happiness now knows no bounds.
I remember my

Yeh I hear ya about the busy-factor, doing my best to prevent this I promise :)

Yes the ebook cover that I see Fred and Rog use to advertise their ebooks> does it take long to make and if you are too busy I'm happy to make it if you point me in the right direction. xx

hey Ryan, I'll be in Davao City, Philippines from Aug 6 onward and then I will be visiting Thailand sometime after before heading back to California. Keep me posted on your travel plans if you're in either area and would like to meet up.

hey man, loving the profile tunes, tasty fruits and good tunes is what its allll about! share your profile sentiments also, pretty much word for word... nature's due a bit more respect, however as long as man thinks he runs the show its going to be a rough ride!

Interesting pysical transformation also...you have many pitfalls along the way that you'd care to share? After the initial euphoria of stumbling on 811 and the following weeks, I heard a few stories through a friend of a guy who attempted an athletic lifestyle while on 811, and ended up in hospital as a result of low sodium and very high potassium levels in the blood, which has made me a bit more cautious.

I don't have any info on his exact diet right enough so it could have been a case of him not tracking his diet thoroughly, or perhaps not getting a reasonable variety?

I'm hoping to achieve a high level of fitness, or what I'm sure is considered 'normal' within this community! So any tips from your journey would be much appreciated (c=
