I love to cycle, run, hike, swim, do yoga, strength train, sleep, read books, draw, take photographs, enjoy sunsets, meet new people, work in gardens, eat fruit, spend time with people I love, go to farmers markets, forage for food, sleep outside under the stars in the summer, volunteer, go exploring and sometimes get lost on my bicycle, studying nature and learning all that I can from her, working for Organic Athlete, expressing myself creatively, exploring and discovering wonderful landscapes in my own backyard, learning about all of the places that I would like to travel to in the future, thought provoking films and documentaries, the music I love, meeting like-minded people and having great conversation with them, personally picking the food that I'm going to eat either wild or at a farm, giving fruit to others as gifts, running on the beach, discovering new raw fruits that I have never tried before, helping others become fit and healthy through diet and exercise, growing plants (especially ones that I can eat), watching the seasons change, watching the sun rise and set on the same day, meditation and relaxation techniques, contributing to the health of mother nature rather than abusing and destroying her, improving my fitness...I could go on. Life is such a joy. If it's not then do whatever you have to do to make it a joy.

Yes you read correctly. Today and everyday I get high.



I get to high elevations into the hills on my bicycle.



I get a high heart rate on the climb up.



I get to high speeds when flying down the inevitable descents that follow every climb.



I get high endorphins from the rush of the speed and successfully navigating a harrowing descent.



I get high carbs from fresh organic fruit.

The Falcon, The Hummingbird, and a Great Training Ride

Late this afternoon I decided to pull my face away from the laptop and head out for some hill training on the bike. There's always work to be done here at the OATC but everyone else was out enjoying the wonderful weather we've been getting and I just had to get some fresh air and training in the sunshine as well.

hello Rawkey,

Oh man! my life has taken a whirl wind..  Went to Turkey/London with the wife and kid, got back, the wife gets a call while at LA Airport fly's out, her dad was sick, she came back a week later met up with old boyfriend. now we are divorced. everything is working for the better.  i will send out a video shortly.  now a single dad with 2 kids.  crazy busy.  race year coming up. I'm strengthening emotionally.
