I am currently overweight and I am looking for a way to become healthy again. I dabbled with raw foods in 2008 and was raw for 6 months. I was super-fit and my favorite activities included rock climbing and mountaineering - I was hardcore into the outdoors. But then the world economy went to pot in 2008, and circumstances forced me to work 2 jobs full time, every day of the week for a year straight. My schedule was sleep/work, sleep/work just to survive. I gained weight because I just grabbed fast food and there was no spare time for exercise. I am now once again in a good place, and I NEED to get back to the raw lifestyle. I have seen the videos on youtube of people losing weight on raw foods. But I want something more. I want to prove it is possible to lose weight AND become super FIT with a lean, muscular athletic body on a HCRV diet. I am looking for support from the HCRV community to help me in my endeavor.

I need help on how to stay on a HCRV diet. I keep straying back to cooked foods. Circumstances have forced me to ride my bike to work (uphill!!), and I can definitely feel a difference when I have fruit to fuel me, versus cooked food. I do not like to prepare food, whether cooked or raw, so I am looking for super easy ways to get raw food into my body. That's why I like fruit - you just peel it or wash it and you're good to go!
