born 1978 .. vegetarian for 4 years .. now vegan. Learned a lot about raw food whilst living at the Tree Of Life Arizona. Now desire to learn more about fruit. . I love to excercise, all kinds of movements, played almost every sport out there, now im into Forest running and core strength training, love Doug Grahams workouts... would love to live in Costa Rica but dont know how yet. Constantly focusing on how I can be a more loving person. I desire to lead by example and surround myself with others who are leading the way. Ive gardening for 2 years full time, and I want to write books.

Right now I desire to learn more about CARBS and long term effects ? I received so much info at the TOL from Gabriel Cousens, who's studies show that too much fruit is bad, because of the fructose. Im up for trying it out myself now.

Im a little new to the high carb raw . I weigh 75kg. Today I ate raw fruits and veg and my stats on Cron o meter came out at .....  967.3g Carbs 45.8g Protein 3.9g Fat   3812kcal 

I worked out for an hour in the gym intensely.

Am I on the right track here ?????

Hey brother, I use to train the same way...different body parts on different days. And I do agree with you that every muscle group needs a rest. The nature of my workouts now does involve full body training, but I tend to focus on upper body one day and lower body the next. I usually don't do the same exercises 2 days in a row. For instance today was more of a focus on chest and shoulders for me so I did lots of pushups, some barbell overhead presses, and finished with dumbbells chest press to max out. Tomorrow I'm off and friday will be a leg day focus, with some light upper body moves...nothing ballistic. Saturday, i will focus on back - lots of pull-ups etc...I do an intense core routine 3 days per week, but not usually consecutive. I find my abs are stronger when I give them plenty of rest between workouts. What's your calorie intake? do you do 3 meals per day?

One thing that I've noticed from doing different variations of pushups pull-ups is how much stronger I've become and more muscle definition. I haven't done any heavy bench press in 6 months and I pressed the 80lb dumbbells for 8 reps with ease a few days ago. My goal is the 100 lb dumbells for 6 reps. I haven't done the 100s since I was 23 or 24 (I will be 33 in few days). Back then I weighed about 205lbs, was a sad eater, taking protein shakes on a daily basis. Because of my height, I didn't look overweight, but I was definitely carrying more water weight and my muscle quality wasn't nearly as good. My energy reserves weren't great either. I weigh 180lbs now, about 6.5% body fat. In better shape than when I was in my 20s 

When I do pull-ups pushups etc...I do as many reps as I can with each set. I do a lot of supers sets of push-ups - legs raised on bench, followed by supermans, or medicine ball. Up to 2 min rest in between supersets. I also try to 30/15 for 4 sets...that is 30 seconds on with 15 seconds of rest - as many reps possible. I also try to max out with pull-ups during each set. I use a 40 pound weighted vest for some of my sets. Usually get about 4-5 reps with that (work in progress) My works last about 1.5 hours and I usually train 4 days on 1 day off, etc.  I try my best to get 10 hours sleep per night. My body needs it - if I'm too tired ot work out on a given day, then I don't force my body.

Anyway start incorporating body weight movements into your routine and your strength increase exponentially. I will check out the link you sent. Thanks. Hit me up anytime if you wanna talk training! Nice to meet you brother. My workouts consist of a lot of different training styles. TRX training is one of my favorites though. I've been doing it for about 2 years now. Regular fitness training has been a part of my life for the last 13 years. I try to continuously change up my workouts and really practice doing moves that I'm not good at. That's how you get amazing results! I'm 6'4" and have long arms. I used to suck at pull-ups, but now I do them all the time. The majority of my workout are all body weight based moves - as many variations of pushup and pull-ups that i can think of. I also do resistance band training and plyometric work - like explosive jumps and lunges. I still do some weight training - especially power moves like dead-lifts, cleans, and and squats. And of course core workouts at least 3 times per week. The hardest moves I can think of. I'm actually in better shape doing less weight training and more body weight stuff, constantly changing it up - and I'm just as strong, have better balance, and over all muscle definition.
