"Low fat high fiber diets have shown many times to stop the progression of MS and even reverse the disease. I would suggest if a low fat raw vegan diet is too much for her to bite off right now to at least cut fat back to under 10% of calories."

A long time family friend that I have not had contact with in twenty years has asked me for help because I am so passionate about nutrition. She told me that she will trust only me. Preparing for Pregnancy

We are planning to start trying for baby #4 in October, and I have not gone raw yet. Right now I just ate a pint of raspberries and am working on a nice watermelon. During my last pregnancy I struggled with my iron levels (they recommended an iron level at a minimum of 120, but mine was under 80).I really want to avoid that! So, not just about iron but in general - any advice for getting my body ready to carry another wonderfully vegan child into the world? We've been vegan for three years.See More

Sun Sensitivity (anybody else had it?)

For many years now I have had a sun sensitivity. It seems to be getting worse the older I get. What happens is that with a little bit of sun exposure my skin breaks out it red itchy bumps. Sometimes it's more like red itchy splotches over a large area. Strange that it changes, I know. My Dad has the same issue, it used to be splotchy for him but now it's bumps, and each bump is like somebody is holding a lit cigarette to his skin when the sun touches it. Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: My family and I have started transitioning to RAW, with the date set of December 1st to become fully Raw. I have had health issues for quite some time that I've always though of as being "normal" but after going vegan 2 years ago I started to realize that I don't have to live with these daily issues if I eat properly. This also led me to the path of wanting to become dietitian.
