I'm getting my health back on the rawfood diet. Now I want to gain some muscle.
My major interest is the mind/body/spirit connection. My mentors are Abraham, Byron Katie and my own Inner Wisdom.
I'm moving into a space of fun in my life.

Congrats Pam, I just read your update about diabetics and that you got off your drugs! And then you have the "nerve" to say in your update that nothing happened since January 2009... Girl you are doing great and a lot has happened. Good to see you online again a little bit again. I also worked on your tips for beginners exercises. The only one I could not find with Google was the butt raises. Could you clarify those?
Good luck with the renovation and enjoy spring! With love Miriam
Hi
Would you mind me asking what adrenal meds you managed to come off? Its just that I am about to be put on spironolactone as I have very over active adrenal glands causing uncontrollable high blood pressure. I have had very high stress for many years both work and relationship related but this has now greatly decreased. I am also overweight and have been on 8/1/1 now 6 weeks so losing it slowly. I do not want to put any drugs into my system if I can help it as my body has been pumped for years with every hypertension medication on the market and none worked, I just suffered the side-effects. I have managed to come off all these but the treade off is to now begin spironolactone to see if this will reduce the blood pressure so I was very interested to see your comment. Thanks Anita
Yay - new found energy....that's the best!!! Yeah, I think I'll contact the publishing company. That's very interesting about Raw Spirit & Dr. D....maybe they figured out that it looked pretty bad to shun him and went out of their way to invite him again! Who knows!? I haven't been to any potlucks in a long time so I don't know how it's coming but am curious. I'm not going to volunteer, just go so I can enjoy as much music as possible---I will certainly hear more more than speakers!! There is sooooo many amazing artists there, I promise you won't be disappointed if you go just for Doug and get to hear so music too!
Hey there Pam! It's been a long time since I connected with you! How are you doing there? I never made sure you got the book but figured you would let me know it not =) You know the strangest thing about your book is that is missing around 30 pages in the FAQ section completely...they were just not bound in the book. I wonder if you have the receipt from were you bought it, maybe I should call them and they could send another book or something? I'm not that concerned about it really for my self but I thought it would be nice if I loaned it out to other people. Either way it's all good! Oh yeah-Dr. Graham is going to be at Raw Spirit Fest! I wonder if that rumor was ever true about him not wanted there?! Strange, but I'm excited =) Well lady I hope you doing your best, would love to know...
I send you an email already. So looking forward to what you will be sending me.
On my pc I made a bookmark called inspiration. When I feel bored, bad, uninspired or down I click on any item in there. it might be an article that inspired me in the past or a video that makes me laugh. Your mp3 will probably go in there as well. Sometimes we need someone to guide us back to a good place :-)
I am happy that also 811 has people interested in abe and byron katie and others. Of course I would say, still happy that you mentioned it.
hi Pamfree, what is this talking about mp3's in the comment of dream? Do you have inspirational ones that you can point out to me?
I read the article on Holistic Primary Care, did you find it on the site of Jon Abrams? I like the part about the body wanting to be fat and therefore not able to let go of the weight. It makes sense, and refers to the vibrational part of us as pointed out by Abraham. Good to have like minded people to share a bit of the way. see you.
I hear ya...I started this raw journey over six years ago and I only started getting into Abraham/Hicks about a year ago. I attended Dr. Graham's Health & Fitness week and learned about raw there. I wasn't particularly interested in raw food before going, I just wanted to lose some weight. It was such a loving, upbeat and supportive week I felt like I was floating home when it was done. I decided to continue eating that way for a while and thought if I got sick from it I would just switch back. The first couple of years I had some odd cravings (like for plain vinegar) and ate much more than 10% from fat but now I eat mostly mono meals and my fat is 3-4% and I have never felt better. Eating and living this way is totally second nature and people are often commenting on how happy I seem (I am). I love the food I eat but I don't try to use it as an emotional crutch like I had for most of my life. When I am happy and on-track (downstream :) in other areas of my life food is just food. It is a means for me to feel spiritually lighter and freer...but that is just my path. Only you know what is right for you!
Hi Pam, you mentioned you were using the Abraham/Hicks stuff for working on making raw less burdensome. I am just curious in what ways you find it burdensome. Maybe just because I have been living this way for a few years that the only burden I have is when I am trying to carrying 14 cantaloupes up the stairs to my apartment (weight training, I guess) :)
The website I sent you is the main site for the AIM Program. However I actually prefer this one www.returntowellbeing.com There is a lot more info on it and I think its better organized, and easier to find what I want. This website is Arun Dykes website who is a facilitator for the AIM program for the Northwest region of the U.S. (A person you can ask questions to about the program and will help you with anything you need) I would recommend clicking on the 'Dr. Wayne Dyer' link on the home page and listening to that first. It is a great short intro to the program. There is a plethora of info on the site...all kinds of audio/video things to watch and listen to and stuff to read. There is also a book explaining the program, how it works and how it came to be what it is today. You can also get a free information kit. Being on this program has changed my life in so many ways. It is unbelievable and a miracle!
Lynda, don't deprive yourself by limiting yourself to no more than 3 dates a day. I used to eat no more than 2 a day because I was worried about all that sugar and calories but I one day last year I ate 120 medjool dates in one day. (3 smoothies wit…
i pushed back dinner too long tonight and then somebody on facebook talked about his falafels and had pics.. I went running for my oranges at that point...
After 6 months of 811, I ate vegan cooked food again for 2-3 months. Definitely lost my 6-pack and got some moobs. There's still some excess fat below my pectoral muscles, which is quite agitating. ha. I know it will leave in time.
And I've heard than for women, strengthening your pecs gives you more firmness and lift in your actual breasts, kind of like how bodybuilders strengthen their brachialis to make the biceps brachii "pop."
I wonder if some of it has to do with HGH levels via exercise, and that maybe affecting estrogen/testosterone balance? Just an unresearched hypothesis.
Same here, at least 100 khadrawys if I'm mono-ing on dates. Today I had 12 oranges for breakfast, and then probably 30-40 dates (which are small than medjool). (no dinner - somehow wasn't hungry even after a huge training day yesterday)
We have all heard the saying that change is inevitable. And while the changes we are making in our lives are ultimately so we can become our best selves, they aren't always easy.
It means waking up every morning and knowing that you are going to acc…
