"my understanding is that the raw food will expire faster than its processed counterpart. So they can store the processed longer and probably don't have as much in product loss. "

"I was like this too! But over time, you learn from your slip ups and eventually you wont crave cooked food anymore because it will just remind you of how awful you felt (physically and mentally) afterwards.. my only advice is mistakes are good…"

Hello Everyone! I figured I should introduce myself so that I can more comfortably immerse myself into this way of life. I have dabbled in this way of eating for a long time since it was a way i felt energized and not ill. I never thought to keep it as a permanent way of life and so I am still a newbie since I have not been able to stick to it for longer than 2 weeks. I have been mostly a vegetarian since december 2011 and off junk food since february 2012. Now on veggies fruits and nuts only for 1 week.
