Sometimes I feel like I need a sponsor like someone in AA. Can I call you when I feel weak and want to give in to something I know is not good for my body.

Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. Detailed responses will only be accepted (feel free to reapply with more detail if at first not approved as a member). We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: I love to travel, yoga, health and nutrition, well being, spirituality, reading and movies. More but just can't think of it right now.

I joined 30BaD is because I am new to the world of raw food, and even newer to the low fat raw vegan world. It all started with me doing the Master Cleanse and wanting to start a new lifestyle after finishing the Master Cleanse. I knew I was not experiencing optimal health. I just got tired of feeling tired, I didn't even have motivation for the gym anymore and I used to be a machine. When reading about raw food as a way of life it just rang true for me. However most of my knowlege about raw food came from high fat raw foodies. Then I stumbled upon Dr. Douglas Graham and started to read 80/10/10 diet which made way more sense to me. I quickly changed my way of eating. I also ordered Nutrition and Athletic Performance to help me thrive and reach new heights in my performance now that I've returned to the gym for some hard core training.

I also joined 30BaD to be able to network and get advice from people who were once at the beginning stages of a low fat raw food diet. I need some guidance and tips. I want to succeed at this because I can feel at a cellular level that living this way is what is right for me, yet I am still craving cooked foods. I just need to undo my years of conditioning and learn how to eat properly so that I feel satisfied and am getting all the nutrition I need.

Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.: I am not done reading it yet.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....: Some of my favourite books are: The Alchemist, The Power of Now, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, reative Visualization, A Boy Called It

Guidance on what I should be eating even though I live in a cold climate where I do not have access to a big variety of fruits.

Support in general until I can fully change my lifestyle, like an alocholic needs help to not fall off the wagon I think I need the same type of support and just knowing there are others out there like me would help with that.
