Aloha to everyone living in Hawaii!As a freelance software developer I am planning to move there later this year. I was wondering if anyone could comment on the price of organic fruit on any of the islands? I know that Oahu and Maui have Whole Foods stores.. but I am not sure if they supply any local produce or whether their prices are any different from the mainland. Anything organic other than bananas tends to be pretty expensive here. Is it more/less expensive there or about the same? Thanks…See More

I am the only person in my family who eats this way. My parents and sister eat meat and my dad hunts. They are supportive though. Randomly they say bad things about it though. For instance if I say I'm tired then my mom says did you take B12 or you are so limited cause of the way you eat and you can't enjoy food. My favorite is the protein one. lol. I couldn't image eating another way after following this life style for so long. Are your parents vegan?

I love mamey too. Top three would be mango, durian, mamey. You have got to try durian though, it's an addiction.
