When I was 3 years old I found out where meat really came from. I was completely horrified that the steak I was eating almost every night came from an adorable, once-living, cow. Since my family ate meat for almost every meal, and I had little self control at that age, it wasn't until I was 7 that I succeeded at becoming a vegetarian. I've always wanted to try and become a vegan so, after many years, I finally decided to research different types of vegan diets. I stumbled upon the HCRV lifestyle and, by browsing through multiple HCRV facebook groups, I found 30BaD. It seemed like a wonderful and inspiring community and that is the story of why I'm here now :)

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
Since I'm totally new to this I'm not entirely sure what assistance I need. Any type of support that will help me to maintain this lifestyle long term would be great. Recipes, stories of your own experience, words of encouragement, anything really will help :) I'm pretty good about sticking to diets and I'm a fast learner, I just want as much information as possible!

Right on! Yup its a really easy read, went through the whole book in a couple days. There are a ton of great stories in it of people's transitions into 811 and some of the difficulties they went through before they really got the hang of it. Just start to up the overall raw meals per day, get enough calories in from fruit, and you'll do fine :] What type of yoga is it and about how many more hours do you still have to put in?
Hey Natalie, its great you found 30bad! I am new to the site too and know its also going to help maintain this lifestyle. If only one thing I could recommend you do, pick up/ order The 80/10/10 Diet book today! :] It is really a great motivator to keep at it. It will also give you a ton of different meal plan ideas and really explain the science behind the diet. I am also a fellow gym rat, how long have you been teaching yoga?
