Peach! Aw man, not you again ;D What exactly does your training consist of? I'm going to sound like a broken record, but you're almost certainly undereating fruit in terms of your caloric needs based on the amount you'd be exercising. Ya I know not…

Profile Information

I spend most of my time....
I've been vegetarian for 8+ years, vegan for 2, and have just started transitioning into 8/1/1. I've wanted to be 8/1/1 for a while now but got a little sidetracked by an eating disorder. Fully in recovery mode now, I'm excited to start living by thriving on fruit for fuel :)

I attend school in Seattle but am currently studying abroad in France. I don't know ANYONE living 8/1/1 so I'm really looking forward to getting to know some fellow fruitlovers.

Is your goal to be a low fat raw vegan now or in the future? If not we invite u to continue browsing the forum until this is your goal...
Of course! My favorite fruit is definitely the peach <3
Connected already?
No & keen to connect!
My favourite books,movies,authors are....
Everything and anything. I've been listening to a lot of Metric and City and Colour lately. I'm currently reading Le Petite Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to practice up on my French!
Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together low fat raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! Please be kind & respectful of eachother during forum interaction. What raw assistance do u need?
I want to meet others who are more experienced with 8/1/1 since mostly everyone I know eats a SAD diet!

day ?

oops, kind of fell off the blogging wagon for the weekend.
honestly? wasn't doing too hot.
i was getting very overwhelmed over the littlest of things.
i tried to push myself but caved and was a lazy bum fri, sat, and sun.
i binged (mostly fruit then slid into eggs? and m&ms?) on fri then water fasted sat and sun.
i could definitely feel the effects of fri. my body was working hard to recover. i was very tired.
today i had grapes in the morning. about a kilo. two bananas a few hours later. so… Continue

skipped a day, no excuse

Yesterday was so dreary. It was pouring rain here in the city and when it wasn't raining, there was a gloomy fog. Class was difficult as I didn't seem to be doing anything right and I was already feeling a little "off" and dejected. I had an hour break and went to go check my email and learned that my application to internship at a refugee camp in South Africa was put on "hold" until next year, they want me to gain more experience working with refugees in Seattle before they send me abroad. I do… Continue

day 3

Today I wandered into a huge farmers market in downtown Nantes. I was so thankful. Had many moments of weakness today but this put me in a great mood :)

Today's eats consisted of:

4 Tomatoes
2 Bell Peppers
~1 Mango (It started to leave a weird taste in my mouth so I kind of abandoned it...)
1 Small Avocado
2 or 3 Cups of Strawberries
1 Kilo of Grapes

I'm not sure if this is okay, calorie wise?

day two: pink ladies and galas and fujis oh my!

It amazes me how intertwined diet and mental health are. This past week has taught me SO much and honestly, even though it was miserable, I'm grateful for the experience.

On my trip to St. Malo I felt like I had no choice regarding my meals: that I was pressured into cooked foods and two days of subsequent binges. I was devastated that I had ruined all the progress I had made on 811. I mean, I literally remember sitting in the restaurant and feeling my chest tighten up because I knew tha… Continue

Ya I'll sell the vids on amazon.com, if you're lucky i might give you a discount, but don't hold your breath ;D I've taught small lfrv classes. I like speaking in front of an audience, so it should be a hoot. I'll pass on the news.

Irate produce clerk eh? well that was brave of you to do what you gotta do for your health. Were I there i'd have given the crusty-baguette-eating-woman a quick lesson in basic economics (sell more bananas = more PROFIT!) and explained to her that because of the bananas you are possibly the only woman in france with healthy digestion (you'd have to do the translating of course, je ne parle pas français, zut alors!).

So you do admit I'm looking a bit chunky? :)

That information will cost ya, lol. I'm excited man, I've been asked to do some talks on lfrv at the local wellness center soon. Also I'll be flapping my jaws here on 30bad in the not-so-distant future..

How goes the fruit situation in the land of the gauls? Stomach behaving yet?

Hey there Peach,
I talked with my friend who lives in the U district of Seattle and he said that he unfortunately doesn't know much about the housing in that area. He WILL look into though. I'm sure you've already considered this but Craigslist.com should have a substancial database of prospective places to live : ) I hope it all works out for you. Take care!

Humans (as far as I know are all one species) - as far as "species-specific exercises" go, it should be the same as "species-specific diets" - they are adapted for every member of the species and not just some.
