I have only recently started on my path to a full HCRV lifestyle; the last couple of weeks or so. Having come from being the one person most people who knew me thought would be the least likely to ever stop eating meat. I was just eating burgers, pies, pizzas, and all of that rubbish for most of my life, I am now not all that far from 25, 220lbs and I'm fed up with looking overweight and not being able to walk a mile without my legs itching and hurting like mad. So here I am! On the path to a better more active healthy lifestyle. The diet side of it is the easiest for me to be fair, as I just totally adore bananas... Life long favourite fruit. Used to be the only fruit I'd eat growing up. So I'm happy that it is a core base to this way of eating. My brother is a vegetarian and mother a nutritional therapist, so I have a good amount of family support. My main issue I need to focus on is the activity; actually getting out there and DOING things. I've found over the last two weeks I've had a lot more motivation to go outside and walk to places, rather than driving. Unfortunately it has been raining most of this supposed summer here in the UK.. so not too much sun to enjoy. Anyway, I hope joining this community will benefit me and that I can contribute my part to it as well. :) I look forward to chatting with you all, and wish everyone the best.. See you out there! :)

The assistance I require is just to stay on track, and group motivation to keep pushing through with this lifestyle. I don't have much of an issue with staying on the raw vegan diet, the main thing I lack at the moment is the activity, as I work 10-12 hours a day sitting behind a desk. And all it's done in the last 10 months is rain here in the UK, so getting the motivation to go out is a bit harder. + I don't own a bike yet, so hopefully will get one soon when the money trickles in. (If there is any left over after buying all the fruit!) :)
