Citric acid intolerance and rosacea?

Hi all, new girl here. Anyone have experience with either of the above and the lfrv diet? I'm in California, and the prospect of having to avoid tomatoes, strawberries, even peaches all summer is a giant bummer. I can come to terms with no citrus but TOMATOES???!! No fun. I'd love to hear what others have done to deal with these issues. Thanks!See More

Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. I'm a freelance musician in the Bay Area, which means two things: I drive more than I actually play, and my diet is especially weird compared to that of the typical musician (we have a rep for being the most opportunistic eaters!) I'm lucky to be part of a community which is overall very bright and for the most part VERY liberal and accepting of weirdness though--and looking to join another such community here. I've been mostly raw for over a year, veg since I was 19, but now am transitioning to the high-fruit thing. I'm used to being the "odd nut" dietarily but as this is so "extreme" (ha) compared to the mainstream I could use a little support. I'd also love to get involved in my local hcrv community. Hello? Is anyone out there?

Next good show coming up is Bastille Day (July 14) at the Occidental Center for the Arts. Doing a CD release with my trio Un Deux Trois, joined by another french music group La Guingette. It's gonna be a good one! I've also got a semi-private thing coming up with my trio Youkali at a local event called Ridgestock, which I'm excited about. And actually, Jeffrey's brother Dan is my fiddle player! Small world.
