"The idea is that you eat simply for ease of digestion. Your stomach has a much easier time with a meal of 10 bananas than with a meal of 2 bananas, 2 mangos, and a handful of dates.  "

My ultimate goal is to be the same weight as my wedding picture...gain 10+ pounds on my all-you-can eat honeymoon in Costa Rica and it's been 3 months...haven't lost a pound!  Excited for this new lifestyle of fruiting myself!!  I figure, I'll count down the first 30 days since it takes 30 days to break a habit and the rest should be downhill from there.

One more question...does it matter how late at night you eat?  I tend to stop eating after 6ish and later on the weekends.

Day #8 of the 30 Day Start to LFRV...weight loss??

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 9:44pm 1 Comment

Feeling great!!  It's easy on the days I work since I can just pack a bunch of fruit.  I was wonder what kind of weight loss everyone has experienced?  I am down 9.2lbs since Day #1, but I know a lot of this is water weight due to this low sodium lifestyle.  The most weight was lost the first two days.

Yesterday:

Ran 3 miles

Ate 95% LFRV the 5% is from my coffee and felt energized all day!!  Excited to see results at the end of 30 days and know it will be easy…

Yesterday:

Ate 2 Bananas, 1 Apple, 1 Mango, 6 dates and then went on a 9 mile run, felt great!!  This was my long run for the week.  I'm running in a half marathon in 2 weeks.

The rest of the day I ate dates, apples, bananas, raw salads and grapes.  I felt full not sure how many calories.  I'm going to start using…

Day #6 of the 30 Day Start to LFRV ...raw spaghetti and tomato sauce

Posted on September 9, 2012 at 11:26pm 1 Comment

Made spaghetti out of zucchini with my new spiralizer and then a tomato paste in the food processor (tomato, garlic, basil, and onions).   Anyone have any other sauce ideas??

Ate 5 dates, 3 bananas, one pear and one apple before my 6 mile run.  Felt great!  Then dates, bananas, apples and salads the rest of the day.

I would eat more dates, but they're to expensive.  They are $6.99 a pound, which is about 12 dates.  I'm thinking about doing Door-to-Door organics for more fruits…
