I am a college student working on my AAS in business administration. I am extremely interested in health and fitness, and am currently training for MMA. I work part time at a United Methodist Church.
I originally heard of this site, and diet, by watching Doug Grahams videos on Youtube and seeing Durianriders videos in the "related" bar. I was intrigued by his videos and eventually he mentioned his site so I came over to check it out.
I am doing my best to follow the 811 diet, but I am very low on the income ladder, and my mother, who buys a good portion of my food, has some misgivings about it...
I usually eat mostly fruit, usually bananas, pineapple, berries, oranges, dates, watermelon, kiwi, etc.
I also eat large amounts of leafy greens, grass juice powders, asparagus, mushrooms, red onions, lots of carrot juice, fresh garlic, and as many seasonings and spices as I can stand(curry powder, herb seasonings, etc.)
My fat intake is composed primarily of coconut, flax and olive, and avocados. I consume them in my last meal of the day, an hour after consuming my last carbs in a large salad before bedtime.
I am into barefoot running and training. I am starting to switch most of my footwear over to minimalist shoes.
I am a strict vegan as far as diet goes, moreso for health rather than animal rights. I do not have any direct moral objections to animal products per se, however I am very considerate of animals and others, and I try not to use animal products as much as possible because I do not like to support the animal concentration camps and cruel treatment/killing of the animals. About the only animal products I own or use are a couple pairs of leather boots. I try to use alternatives to animal products whenever reasonable.
I am a strong follower of Y'shua Hamashiac ( Jesus Christ), and study mostly under the Hebraic Roots denomination. I have a wonderful Hebrew roots fellowship in my area. I follow all the feasts and commandments found in the holy scriptures.

I like training for MMA and studying about nutrition and physical training.
My other passion is military equipment, including vehicles and personal gear. I am currently in the process of launching a business to sew tactical nylon equipment, such as backpacks, armor carriers, holsters, etc.
I am also a lover of music. I am not subject to any particular style, I simply love beautiful music wherever I hear it. It takes the form of country, metal, alternative, classical, rap, funk, soul, R&B, praise and worship, Rap, anything. Nothing will enrapture me like a beautiful melody.
My favorite activity is being around wonderful people, laughing and having a good time. I enjoy listening to others, laughing, and sharing love and understanding wherever I go.

I am here to learn as much as I can about LFRV, as that is the nutritional philosophy that most correlates with the research that I have done.
Although I feel that I have pretty much grasped the LFRV diet from all of Durianrider and Dr. Doug grahams videos, along with other sources such as his site and this forum, I still look forward to reading the 80/10/10 book as soon as I am able to afford it (which could be a little while)
