Paleo documentary "The Perfect Human Diet" - scientific counter-arguments?

Hey,I just saw this documentary:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2014248/Now there are parts of the message that I agree with: processed foods and (gluten-containing) grains aren't good for us, but fruits & vegetables, nuts & seeds are. I of course don't agree with the caloronutrient ratio and animal content of the diet that is advertised. The main mistake, in my opinion, is to equate what is commonly called low-fat (i.e. still highly…See More

I've been vegan for about 9 years now, also raw vegan for a few months in between. I've been off-and-on trying to get myself to eat more fresh food (high fat), but haven't been able to keep it up. Through a good friend I heard about 80/10/10, and I started reading the book. I'm now trying to transition into it, for now going 100% HCRV at home, but not 100% in social situations. Baby steps. I need to make sure I change because I want to, not because I've made rules about it.

Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:
I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance
Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.
I have read the book

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
I'm mostly interested in the community aspect, the idea that there's a whole bunch of people interested in a similar lifestyle; and a place where I can safely share my story (and beginner's struggles, how to deal with cravings etc.). I want to make this transition a success story, and I think I need to have the support of like-minded people to do so.
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this

Freelee's Challenge - Day 7 (July 1)

[Posting this a few days late, since I was at a meditation retreat without Internet access]

Breakfast: 3 apples, 4 bananas

Lunch: 3 apples, 9 dates

Water: ~5l

Exercise: ~1h hiking with heavy bags

It's going fine. Eating that little bothers me much less than I thought it would, and the Indian food the others eat (rice and lentil sauce) is less and less tempting. I guess the meditation starts to do its job: as monk Ajahn Brahmali…
