I ate 3000+ calories per day over the weekend.  I really stuffed my face, and I was pretty active.  Yet, I've still been starving and having some cravings for the last three days.

I had the worst day in a long, long time yesterday.  At the end of it I couldn't sleep and it was 2am and it felt like my mind was in hell.  I had some avocado, hummus, and rice pasta hoping it would help me sleep (which I haven't done in a few months).  My feeling of intense hunger only went away…

Cheating is always bad

It is!  I've been convincing myself lately.  I used to allow myself one cheat meal if I had been good for a while.  Mostly a big bowl of steamed veggies.  Some potatoes or even tofu on the rarest of occasions.  But who needs cheating?  I'm not a cheater!

You know what has made a big difference?  Upping my calories!  I used to eat 2000 calories a day and do a moderate amount of exercise.  Now I eat 2500-3500 and I'm trying to become an athlete!  I run 5k, bike, walk, or do yoga…

Assumed to be a teenager twice in the last week! I must be doing something right!

I was assumed to be a teenager twice in the last week!  A lady at the grocery store asked if I was going to "cook my produce all by myself!"  She said she assumed I was 16-17!  I'm 24!  She was surprised, to say the least, and said I looked young both in my face and body.  I told her I eat a lot of fruit.  I'm normally shy about my diet, but next time I will take the opportunity to plug veganism.

Break up has me off track

The last two weeks have been dramatic.  My boyfriend and I broke up and it took two weeks for him to find a new place and move.  So, I'm on my own again.  There are a lot of positives that come with that.  I have been eating steamed veggies pretty much every day.  I've gone out drinking a few times, which has actually helped me get over the pain faster.  But it's self destructive.  I come home ravenous.  My ex left some cans of beans in the house and those are gone now.  And I had a few…
