HI everyone! I learned about the 811 way of life only a couple of weeks ago after stumbling across some youtube videos made by another lfrv. I had been looking for some health info/encouragement because I've been feeling pretty rotten lately, so I wanted to try to see if a change in diet would help and so far it really has! No more issues since starting (granted, it's only been a week but I normally would have had pain or discomfort in that amount of time).

Anyway, I'm really enjoying learning about everything and meeting and learning from others who are more experienced than I am with the 811 lifestyle! I've read the book from cover to cover and love it all so far!

So that's how i got here! Looking forward to getting to know everybody:)

support, encouragement and guidance:) I'm using chronometer to try and get my calories up (being especially careful since I'm pregnant). I've had to resort to allowing some cooked food into my diet to maintain a high calorie intake, but am looking for support especially in getting the calories up without needing to rely on this. But I figure it's a necessary first step for me! I'm still keeping to the 80/10/10 ratios, or somewhere in that range at least - just allowing a few small portions of cooked in there
