Hellllooo. So I'm back on 30bad and the 80/10/10 wagon. The diet is much more do-able for me since last time I was doing it, and lasted 6 months I was in Saskatchewan in mid winter. I'm now in Vancouver and there are so many produce stores I feel like I am in wonderland haha. I've finished 1 month 80/10/10. My overt fat intake for the month has been 2 small avocados and a handful of hemp seeds. I've been eating a lot of mangoes, dates, and oranges. I pretty much only monoeat. I definitely…See More

Hi everyone,My cousin has been asking me for advice on how to treat/heal her 5 year old daughter's eczema. The doctors have her on something called 'Mometasone'. Her mom tries not to use it very often, only when she really needs to control an outbreak. I searched around the forum and saw some people suggesting dandelion as a remedy. Has anyone tried this? Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. Detailed responses will only be accepted (feel free to reapply with more detail if at first not approved as a member). We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: I'm a vegetarian of 10 years, vegan of 7 years. I've had two separate spouts of 100% 811 each lasting 6 months. At the moment I'm on day 46 of 100% LFRV. I love mangos, oranges, pomegranates, and spinach. Just to be honest, I'm not 100% 811 as I partake in certain other raw foods not accepted by the diet. However I do not advocate them. I want to connect with more vegans in my area and from around the world. I plan to move to a hot country someday so that I can better accommodate my diet. I love to travel and have been all around Asia, Europe and South America. I am currently in school for international studies and wish to work to help foster a sustainable world. I am the lead singer of a Vancouver-based band called Ferals (http://feralsmusic.bandcamp.com/) and volunteer for our local Food Not Bombs. I'm passionate about buddhism and minimalism. I'm trying to live life to the fullest and challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone. Thanks for reading! :)
