Profile Information

I spend most of my time....
Unfortunately, trying to get better from hypothyroidism. But I love making people happy and laughing a lot - as much as possible i.e., but have been a bit neglectful of this delight lately while getting bogged down with lack of energy.. hope the raw food will bring the smiles and the laughs back : ))) I also love being with my friends and four sons and their wives, girlfriends and kiddies. And I adore fine uplifting spiritual company - people I can have meaningful, mind expanding, stimulating discussions with on Life and its magic and mystery. I also love rom-coms and gripping, positive books in many genres and my son has been teaching me how to trade in a safe way with little money on the currency markets.. I love the adrenalin. In the past I have done many workshops on self-improvement and a few 'fire walks' and have a certificate for glider flying - that's it for thrills - otherwise I just love the day to day fun that life brings and the interactions with nice people.... Only really want to get better tho!! : (

Is your goal to be a low fat raw vegan now or in the future? If not we invite u to continue browsing the forum until this is your goal...
Yes
Connected already?
well Its complicated
My favourite books,movies,authors are....
I favour Rom-coms; Loved 'The Proposal' and 'The Accidental Husband' with Uma Thurman. I will read books on a wide range of subjects as long as I find them gripping and interesting. Like I am now reading a hilarious book on Greek Mythology (who'd have thought) recommended by my son. I read desert romances and books on the Stock Market and Spiritual books especially by 'Abraham-Hicks' and books on Native American Culture and Aborigines - anyone who treads gently and respectfully on this earth of ours i.e. I have a book on someone who does not even eat food, but lives on 'light' - no not Yasmuheen! I love films that uplift and inspire.

Meg replied to Liz's discussion 'Kelp noddles'
Hey Liz :) kelp is greenish brown, and kelp noodles are white and come in a package so I'm not too sure why some people think they're classified as raw. I think it depends where you are on your journey, but thats just my opinion. I'm sure its helpfu…

were they organic? just curious. also, you don't eat of the skin do you? i've read that mango peel contains the same chemical as in poison ivy or poison oak: urushiol. could be related? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mango#Potential_for_contact_derma

Congradulations sounds like a good plan. Only thing is what kind of doctor are you planning to be? I don't know about Turkey but medical school here really screens for anyone who thinks outside the box and gets rid of them or does not let them in. t…

How frustrating! Maybe smoothies would be worth a try... how long has it been? how bad was she before she went raw??

Haha, that would be gross! I always thought blended salads are gross when I read about them, because that is what I imagined, a normal salad, blended... For some combinations with fruit that may work, when it ends up being similar to a green smooth…
